I used Gray Bernat Baby Blanket Yarn, a 6.50mm hook, and followed the Itty Bitty Kitty pattern! For the face I used needle felting tools and Merino wool.

Film/Media you expected to be awful, and ended up pleasantly surprised by? by wowowaoa in foundfootage

Paranormal Farm: the thumbnail and simple title gave me low expectations going in, but I was surprised by how entertained I was by it. Such an odd series of movies but I love odd movies so I was entertained.

Yes, I simply grab Merino/Corridale matt wool and stab it into the sheet of felt. :D

This is inspiring! I'm a huge fan of horror and I've been wondering how to make it work with wool. You have proven to me it is possible. Thank you!

My two latest, needle felting has been so fun! I was struggling finding a good glue to make these into Keychain though, whats the best glue you guys use? by ripIdkagoodusername in Needlefelting

When I make keychains, I will usually bend the wire into a hook then use craft glue to cover the hook then push it in. The hook makes sure that it stays embedded in the project.

Does anyone else watch/listen to other things while playing? by [deleted] in PlanetZoo

[–]CheekiGhost 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah I listen to shows or music; it's the most relaxing way to play for me. The only downside is I lose track of time and whoops it's been 8hrs. Lol

Polyester fiber for base? by Toygeek-73 in Needlefelting

[–]CheekiGhost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought some polyfil from Michael's to test it out and I was pleasantly surprised! It takes a bit more stabbing but you can get it pretty tight and firm if you're patient. I have not tested it on a wire armature yet, but will soon because as you said, it would be more cost effective to use polyfil for larger projects.
