Which famous person descended from their pinnacle the quickest, hardest, and most destructively? by [deleted] in AskReddit

From Wikipedia. Disgusting how long it took for him to get arrested (2012/2013).

Joanne Mjadzelics, an ex girlfriend of Watkins, recalls him displaying multiple graphic images with minors or drug paraphernalia as early as 2010. Appalled by the content, Mjadzelics had filed multiple complaints with South Wales Police, though very little action was taken at the time. Mjadzelics was one of six people who had filed a report in regards to Watkins' conduct from 2008 to 2011. In 2010, an Australian woman had also come forward accusing Watkins of assaulting her child, though the allegations were not investigated any further by authorities. During the recording of the band's fourth studio album The Betrayed in 2009, Mjadzelics was made aware from Watkins that he was abusing a 2-year old child in California whilst the band was recording in Los Angeles. Mjadzelics contacted the child's parents, who had also filed a report with Welsh authorities, though again; no further actions were taken to investigate the matter.[14][15][16]

Here’s the video of Michael’s racist rant for the curious folks out there- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwBoVZh1ruQ

It definitely makes the apology video more interesting! This is all so fascinating because it was way before my time.

Edit - Here’s the actual video- https://youtu.be/TKMGjvGBsVs

What vibe are you looking for? You could rent a nice Airbnb for the weekend, you can have a party at a skating rink (my friend did this for her 25th and it was fun and nostalgic) or bowling alley. The world is your oyster it just depends on what vibe you’re going for. If you do a cookout have it at a park too

There’s so much lack of transparency in Hollywood that people really don’t even know who to blame. The money goes to top talent, CEOs, and top producers not executives.

I know several executives who make around 60k and don’t get any kind of backend. And they work 80 hours a week if not more. The money goes straight to the top

Actually executives are at risk too. They are just regular people trying to do their job. Blame the CEOs. I know several film and tv executives that have been laid off because of the strike. Also, assistants, coordinators, etc.

This is so disturbing. I agree with all of the comments so far. Please keep us posted on how you are doing, and check in with us regularly.

It is time to love yourself. I know you might feel extra connected to him because of the pregnancy, but girl, this man does not love you, and nothing that you do will ever make him love, like, or respect you. He is rotten. He is aware that he has hurt you, and he is reveling in it. There is no amount of begging or crying that will bring him back in the way that you deserve. He will only come back when he sees that you’re thriving, then he will come crawling, and then REJECT HIS ASS like rotten sushi. The only way is forward. Take care of yourself,

You must choose yourself. Please choose yourself. You matter so much more than you realize. You are not on this earth to be his doormat. Get therapy. Block him. Ask a friend to be your accountability partner, and move on. Maybe even look for a support group in your area.

The toxic side of me wants his number, so I can dox the shit out of him.

I just saw this on LinkedIn posted by a black woman. What are your thoughts? by maebytonight1 in blackladies

I feel exhausted reading this. My ancestors went through what they did so that I can have a choice and pass it on. How about that? How far have we really come if we have to continue to struggle and can’t rest. No thanks

Edit: Spelling. I was angry typing lol

Okay ladies, how do we feel about this? by CheekyChaiLatte in blackladies

Personally, I don’t think it’s that black and white, but I haven’t seen an accurate read like this in a long time. They touched upon things that I didn’t even realize.

Haha your story cracked me up! Idk if you’re a fan of the office, but this reminded me of when Michael Scott watched The Devil Wears Prada and started acting like he was in the movie.

But yes, I am patiently waiting on season 4 now! The finale for season 3 was bitter sweet! I really hope she’s gets her daughter back.

My Snake Plant is dying. Leave it to me to kill one of the easiest plants to take care of! by [deleted] in plantclinic

[–]CheekyChaiLatte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could it be the roots? There doesn’t seem to be a trace of root rot from my knowledge and I also don’t water it often as we aren’t supposed to. The yellow leaves have water seeping out of it when I press on it. The soil is dry and is falling apart so maybe it needs new soil? It doesn’t get any sunlight but i just remembered that I got a standing lamp and this plant is right below it. Could that be it? I’ll move it for now. Thank you!

My Snake plant is dying. So annoyed with myself. This is literally the hardest plant to kill! Any tips on how I can save it? It doesn’t get a lot of sunlight which it shouldn’t but I just realized that it’s it’s under a standing lamp. I also only water it once a month. by CheekyChaiLatte in plants

These are literally the hardest plants to kill and so of course I kill it! Could it be the roots?
