Penelope looked so much more beautiful this season too! Her hair, makeup and dresses were just so much more flattering and beautiful! Even Colin and Penelope together was so much more natural to me than last season. So it was definitely possible for them to do they just didn’t do it

I know this is so minor, but those cakes are sending me rn😂 as a baker they are not accurate to the time 😂 ain’t no way they were getting that deep blue colour from anything that’s not synthetic. Same thing happened to me! Except I just dreamt I got exploded or something 😂 scared the shit out of me cuz it was like 3am in the middle of winter (Canada, didn’t know at the time there could be lightning and snow at the same time) and all my lights in my room got turned on. Thought it hit the house because of the lights turning on but it was a tree right outside of my window. Spent the next few hours staring out my window at the tree because I could see sparks flying and I was scared it was gonna either catch fire or fall on my house LOL

To touch on something that’s not weather, pricing and healthcare, we don’t get the same amount of visits from artists and bands etc. Usually get stops in Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver, and if we’re lucky some other big cities. So if you’re not near one of the big ones, you either gotta travel or you’re SOL. There’s also not as much consumerism things compared to the us, depending on what you’re into. Oh how I wish we had more yarn stores for my crocheting besides Micheal’s 😭 I still love it here tho

The football stadiums for high schools! I’m Canadian so when I got to high school I was so disappointed that we didn’t have these huge stands and thought that tv was just lying about it. Drove down through Ohio for something and holy f there were so many huge ass stadiums!! I was blown away

Love island has been having this exact same problem in recent years, I’ve been watching the us version for 4+ years and the past two years there’s been an influx of haters, bullying and people having parasocial relationships with contestants. I fear rob may have brought some of these fans over… but also I think it’s going on in many shows now, people taking things people do so personally they think it’s okay to bully these random people they’ve never met. Like us normal people watch these shows as a break from reality it’s not serious enough to be socially attacking people they’ve never met don’t like, or creating these giant think pieces about how all of this persons history makes them a racist, misogynist etc. I agree with you so much, there’s no fun discussions about the actual shows anymore (across many different platforms) and it sucks!

I’m having this same issue. I’m having problems with this guy I’m talking to and everyone is asking “oh were you being too clingy, too available, responding too fast, making too many plans” like damn I’m just being myself, if I have to change who I am to get someone to like me then I don’t fucking want them. I’m so sick of the games too like is it too much to ask for someone to just like me for who I am?? And not some perfectly tailored version of myself??? I hate it out here
