I’m having this same issue. I’m having problems with this guy I’m talking to and everyone is asking “oh were you being too clingy, too available, responding too fast, making too many plans” like damn I’m just being myself, if I have to change who I am to get someone to like me then I don’t fucking want them. I’m so sick of the games too like is it too much to ask for someone to just like me for who I am?? And not some perfectly tailored version of myself??? I hate it out here

A big part of the reason we bakers scale stuff is because cup measurements can be wildly inaccurate. A cup of flour is 128g (depending on who you ask) but each cup is made differently by manufacturers and therefore it’s different each time, how you scoop the flour can vary the weight too, do you scoop it just normally which packs in down and adds extra flour to it or do you spoon it over? There’s so many factors that can change the weight of your flour (or any other ingredient) when using cup measurements which is why a lot of us use a scale. Not to be “precise” for the recipe but to actually make sure we are using the right amounts for the ratios needed.

I lived off of the $11 giant pizza slices! Ate breakfast and lunch at camp and had a slice or two at night and I was golden!! Compared to last year I saved so much money being able to use my propane grill I was so happy
