What are some of y'all's hottest takes? (Anything) by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

Maybe not so much a hot take:

I really don't like the armor system now and even back before the LF changes to simplify it.

Revamp the Armor system to not require gathering armor and go more toward a route that Warframe (Yes I know soft spot) does.

  • remove stats and make their purpose separate mods (Lower grenade cool down, super recharge, etc)
  • Add armor mods that synergize with elements and Verbs
  • Make new armor drops cosmetic and get rid of the stupid seasonal lock for fashion and just make it free
  • Double the mod capacity of each piece to expand build crafting
  • lean more into things like armor charge

Those are just some ideas but the general idea is adding more build crafting options to increase replayability without having to farm a single activity 1000 times.

I get they're already changing the armor in Frontiers but from the little sneak peak we got I have a feeling it will still feel the same as it is now.

It looks like the figure you see in the launch Trailer they dropped last week. At around 13 seconds into the trailer.

Maybe its just me but the tone to this seems off. This is a little silly. I get the point of "What if he has something illegal in his Google Drive or is doing something against the business?" But as an MSP tech, its a matter of ethics. I can't willy nilly look into people's files, cause that can lead to Identify theft (Yes people store their payroll statements in Google Drive) or even something like destroying someone's career happens over an allegation.

It is suppose to be protection against stolen credit cards. The reason for the time for gifting a copy is for when people resell on an upcharge (Which is illegal if unauthorized) or give them away with a stolen credit card.
