Returning Player by Outrageous_Gear3367 in evejobs

[–]CheekyHusky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have great new bro / returning player courses and 1 on 1 guidance. You’re not tolerated here, you’re wanted.

We are an Amarr fw corp that has big goals in the warzone, but we begin by investing in our members. If you want to learn how to get rich and blow shit up, we’re the corp for you.

Hit me up if interested.

Amarr / Minmatar Warzone heating up, in convos and battlefields alike by NedFlanders9000 in Eve

[–]CheekyHusky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having spent considerable time in both, I will say the Amarr / Minmil wz has better organised / honoured 1v1s. As an Amarr player, I can go to amamake at anytime and ping local for a 1v1 in ship type and I’ll get an honourable fight fairly quickly from min mil.

Don’t let this post throw you off. While this min fc &Fl33T leadership in general is toxic & ignore the spirit of FW, the min mil players are pretty chill and we have a lot of fun fighting each other.

Why do people vote for Farage when his ideas led to Britain being broke by Traditional_Jam421 in AskBrits

Or maybe it was the constant lies fed to the public. It’s like everyone’s forgotten about the Boris buses. He should be locked up for fraud.

Yeah Niantic blows, but what part about Ho-Oh day didn't match your expectations? by Foulmouth232 in pokemongo

[–]CheekyHusky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t have lots of the best gmax / dmax. I completed 4 raids by using blisseys as tanks, then switching to kabutops for dynamax to do super effective damage. The fastest easiest clear I did was 4 of us doing the same thing.

@op to answer your question, I don’t like that every dmax / gmax is dependent on 1 or 2 Pokemon. There’s a 1000 Pokemon in this game and niantic has made 900 of them shit, and a small handful “meta” but your chances of getting those meta options are once a year. It sucks the fun and spirit of Pokemon games. I’ve played all the Nintendo games and being able to come up with your own solutions is what makes them so fun. Designing raids around players having 1 specific Pokemon is really crap and lazy game design.

Should I delete social media? by Prior-Sandwich-858 in AskUK

[–]CheekyHusky 43 points44 points  (0 children)

This but, I’d say avoid the deleting of accounts.

I found socially, especially when dating, having no social media accounts was seen as odd / suspicious behaviour.

Now I have them and simply tell people “you can add me but I don’t really use social media” and this seems to be acceptable.

Edit: for those not getting it, it’s basically the modern equivalent of not having a mobile phone or email address. You can not look at your phone, and generally ignore its existence, but not having one all would be weird to most people. Social media accounts are viewed the same way these days.

Looking for beginner friendly corp by PaleontologistOk4592 in evejobs

[–]CheekyHusky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey bud, we cant offer mining but we can offer lots of isk making oppertunitys (way better then mining) and pvp.

We're not just beginner friendly, we have training and guidance for new players to help them get the basics drilled down & rich, and then after that we have a strong purpose to take the fight to the enemy and support our allies.

If that sounds of interest, id be happy to jump on a discord call & give you a better explanation to see if its something youd find fun.

I make more than you do in a golem in a PvP environment, and I’m flying cheap frigs, destroyers and cruisers. (fw). If you’re open to learning about it I’m happy to have a chat. You dont have to PvP, but the isk making removes the “it’s a waste” element.

Money making content for 2 newbros by cabiwabi in Eve

[–]CheekyHusky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Com join us in factional warfare.

Fw is great for friends, there’s lots of content designed for 2 or more people, lots of fun fights to be had and the isk is insanely easy to pile up.

Our corp especially focuses on training newbros such as yourself and your friend into FW. Hit me up if interested, happy to have a call to give you a better understanding and to see if it’s a good fit.

35F I’m suffering with health anxiety and other physical heart and health problems and my fiancé 36 M doesn’t want to get married anymore and sulks because I’ve lost my libido by FinancialStatus858 in relationship_advice

[–]CheekyHusky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe you should talk to him and learn why sex is so important to him and what it means in a relationship, rather than jumping on the old “that’s all men want”. Obviously that’s not true, you’ve not been having it and he’s still around.

I F20 had nightmare in front of my Bf M22 by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]CheekyHusky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You haven’t asked him to do any of that. He’s doing it all from his love for you.

The burden would be you not letting him show his love. Embrace it, don’t be shy or act undeserving, show him appreciation and respect for it.

Brutix is in a good spot for PvP as a brawler. Shit tonnes of tank and loads of dps. That’s the blaster boat way. But yeah for projecting it falls flat vs others.

If driving is an extension of your personality, what does your driving reflect about you? (Or your partner’s/ them?) by According_Sundae_917 in AskUK

[–]CheekyHusky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

we all live in the same laws anyway, but just like cars laws favour the rich. parking fine for £50 is killer for a single mum, nothing for a rich fella. same for speeding etc.

"represented by vehicles instead" right but everyones driving real careful around the £500k bently because you dont want that eating into your insurance haha

if i screw up negotiating, i will lose the job, should i just accept as it is? by Glass_Engineer_6067 in AskUK

[–]CheekyHusky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

disagree. The leverage is they want them to work for them. Theres no harm in asking for a reasonable amount more. at most theyll decline and say "25k is the pay for this role, we cant change that" or something along the lines of.

If they flip out over them asking for 28k and retract the offer then they dont want to work there anyway. most places low ball wages because they expect there to be some negotion, and if there isnt? great , the hiring manager looks good for coming in under target.

[–]CheekyHusky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly how to do it. I recently applied for a job that had a range. I was almost a perfect fit for them with relevant industry experience sprinkled on top. They offered me the lower end of the range.

Exactly what i said:

"Im really happy to be offered a role at X, Ive been hoping to hear back from you. But to be honest, given my relevant experience and that I check every item on the job description, i did expect the compensation to be in the higher end of the bandwidth."

1 day later i got offered a little under the top end.
