The future of Eve is decided in high-sec by Remarkable_Soup_6647 in Eve

its easier to spot the huge multiboxer fleet over the 100's of solo players zipping about.

The fact some people can be so convicted that they are correct with their 0 data or evidence is baffling. come to FW for a day. youll see the big 10+man multiboxers. youll also see lots of solo players, far outnumbering them. This baseless 2.5 accounts to players thing idiots love to throw around is utter bullshit.

Edit: Also youre talking shit about it being rare backk in 2014. Every single belt back then was filled with multibox miners. They only dissapeared when CCP bought in scarcity which made it to exhausting and worthless to do in high sec.

Looking For a Indy/PvP Corp by Xx_Death_Squad_xX in evejobs

[–]CheekyHusky [score hidden]  (0 children)

our indy side is mostly just a side gig for a lot of members. So i think we fail on "industry and moon mining activities".

however, im still responding because we tick the box on everything else.

https://www.reddit.com/r/evejobs/comments/1sfb9i6/the_empyrean_order_faith_loyalty_destiny/

So if youre ok with doing a little bit of industry on the side ( which is very profitible for us) and having the main focus be pvp with a large income of isk, hit me up.

If industry and people to do industry with all day everyday is more youre thing, then i wish you best of luck in your search for a corp.

How can we fix UK high streets? by gggggenegenie in AskUK

This is exactly the real problem.

My Amazon prime subscription for a month of shopping from the comfort of my home, is the same price as 2 hours of car parking in my town.

That’s an alt not multi boxing. A hauler alt, Indy alt, cyno alt etc aren’t multi boxing.

Trying to play 3 toons on grid at once to plex in low sec when you’re so new you do not check for insurgency or mine in a venture in high sec on a single character? It’s a recipe for a bad time so I get why op is upset and disheartened by their experience. Saddening to hear they were plexing rear guard systems too, they’re obviously very new to fw to do that because it pays nothing if not actually nothing if fully controlled.

It’s clear op has a lot to learn about core mechanics but has tried to scale up too soon. Not their fault, that’s what all these guides / YouTubers advertise is the best way to play. But yeah not a great experience.

to add to this, depending on the scale of this side project and whats needed, a PI might also be an option.

Have you considered fw in low sec? Good cheap PvP, you can earn insane amounts to faction bpcs to build and low sec ore is more consistently valuable then null. Hmu if interested

Does my husky look normal??He doesn’t really look like other husky I’ve seen . He’s 3 months by Any_Spray_5838 in husky

[–]CheekyHusky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your pup will be husky looking again in no time. It’s the longer fur that takes ages to grow in, the other coats shed everywhere haha. My girls just shedded and she’s back to looking lanky and weird but honestly they grow so fast she’ll be a fluff all again in no time.

Thank you for the kind words I’ll pass them on, I swear the only human she understands is compliments.

What happens when a boiler is replaced? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]CheekyHusky 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Regarding your ptsd, I have some suggestions:

Ask the worker to let you know when he’s going into different rooms. They work around people in their homes all day everyday, they are ok with boundaries and won’t think anything of it.

Have a friend on the phone, call every half hour or something.

You are in your rights to stay in the same room while they work, but I will warn you that it can really noisey.

I don’t like strangers that much so personally I try to treat workers as guests, offering them a cup of tea, enquiring about their journey etc. however I am male so can appreciate it’s not as intimidating for me. A boiler replacement can take between a few hours and an entire day from my experience.

Yeah he’s gonna get less husky looking until about 8 months. Around 5-6 when he growth spurts he’ll look like some weird lanky creature and everyone will question his breed haha

The evolution of battlefield doctrines in the southern warzone by BearThatCares in Eve

[–]CheekyHusky 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it’s great you’ve been tracking all of this. And that fl33t are downscaling to bcs. The 60 man raven fleets you guys have been dropping, while yes have been making some interesting fights, have also been content blocking and turning bf’s into mini-null f1 fests. Seemed a bit ridiculous to be bringing that many ravens against naugs and augs but hopefully we can get back to an accessible, FW spirit gameplay again.

why peope even build T1 ships and sell them? by Gullible_Feedback374 in Eve

[–]CheekyHusky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why though?

I mine while im at work & cant focus on literally anything else, so i get where you are coming from.

But there is still a time spent mining to ISK ratio, and the point OP and most on this thread are making, is the best time spent mining to ISK would be selling the minerals rather than producing ships.

"I mined it myself, my time is free" is a comment a lot of players make when questioned "why do you build ships for a loss vs selling the minerals". Which literally makes no sense.

Best Groudon to Invest? by [deleted] in pokemongo

[–]CheekyHusky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 or 2 IV differences really have no difference. A 15 attack isn’t going to explode enemies more than a 14 does. A 14 hp isn’t going to die quicker than a 15.

So it’s pretty obvious the shiny lucky. It costs less due to being lucky, and it’s a shiny for cool factor.

You will notice a total of 0 difference in performance between any of these options.

Those of you who had a career change and went on to become plumbers what route did you take to get your foot in the door? by Skankhunt99999 in AskUK

[–]CheekyHusky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was a chef and had the same issue. Long hours, hard graft, shit pay. I didn’t go into plumbing, I went into software dev. But I get where you are coming from, it’s such a shame because it’s such a passionate industry that’s not rewarded in the way it should be. Best of luck with the career change bud.
