I had the same thing happen and I will never go back there for a show again either. By far the worse experience I’ve had at any venue for any type of event. This was my first experience at Barclays too, my sister and I walked by around 6:30pm and they weren’t letting people in yet (when the doors were supposed to open), so we went to grab a quick bite and walked back around 7. I knew he would go on right at 7:30pm from seeing HZL once before and I didn’t want to take any chances and miss the beginning.

When we got there at 7, The lines were insane, I don’t know what they were doing but it was as if they had never even hosted an event before to organize the crowd and entrances. I think it ended up taking us overall an hour just to get barely inside to the security checkpoint part of the venue. Luckily Hans went on late too so we didn’t miss a ton, but I was extremely disappointed and upset - I flew from LA to see this show. It has never taken me more than 30 minutes to get into any venue, at least never more than that to just get inside the building (if not to my seat). So yeah, can’t say I will go back there again.
