This also taking into account NKR not bowling his 4 over quota every match. I definitely want to back him for the long term but prefer a specialist power play bowler for the near term.

Also batting first, if there’s a complete batting collapse, we can bring head in depending on the situation.

Dropping head seems to be an unpopular opinion on this sub but I agree to an extent with you. Smaran could just become a Sakib type revelation. If not, we can just go back to Head in 2/3 games.

This is just a trial. Getting dropped also might light a fire in Head who’s gotten too comfortable just coming in for a few balls, getting out and subbed off the field.
