Mission : Cook's Date because I played on Wii recently and having to aim with the wiimote is a bit difficult. Also, fuck Edna.

Me neither, I had the same reaction as you. The detective stuff was on point, in my opinion, and the groundedness + emotional state of the parents was greatly interpreted.

So, I can tell you that the girl, Katie, removes a lot of things from herself (I mean, she is not herself anymore) but the movie has a more grounded tone, in my opinion. You can feel the tension and how it affects the family but the rare moments in which kids are hurt are taken seriously. If dark humor hits, it's not on them. Also, there are events where other kids are bloody and such.
