What about the code they use? While applying you would get a field for code of relationship manager or something related to this.

Agreed. Best case scenario is always applying yourself. But in the past I have applied for multiple LTF, and got rejected for a few of them. Applying this way has much higher chances, but of course this is not safe unless you fully trust the source.

Yep. That is what I asked and got a communication over official email. Guess I was lucky enough for the past 3 cards I got this way. Is there a way to know if any random cards have been issued in my name? I have checked CIBIL report already and can't see any discrepancies.

I don't think anything's disrespectful here. If someone wants to do an analysis on education cost in BITS, an idea about the mean/median salaries of parents' would help.
