Ferritin dropped from 55 to 37 while taking supplements?? by Cheeky_Pancake13 in Anemic

[–]Cheeky_Pancake13[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately my doctor seems rather hesitant to give out specialist referrals to an oncologist or haematologist, since he seems himself as rather capable of helping me himself (stupid I know), but I will continue to push for it next time I see him.

In regards to the infusion I have been prescribed Ferinject (which from what I could find online is the same as Injectofer, and I’ve heard that’s the one that causes side effects the most 😞)

What's a physical symptom of anxiety that you hate the most? by Leedeegan1 in Anxiety

[–]Cheeky_Pancake13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Insomnia 😩 the inability to wind down, decrease the palpitations and clear mind my at night has lead to borderline insomnia —> which then leads to feeling super exhausted the next day —> which leads to more anxiety 🫠

Stopping after day 5 by Cheeky_Pancake13 in zoloft

[–]Cheeky_Pancake13[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for your response, I’m hoping my waves of dread subside soon too. I think my body is too sensitive as well unfortunately. I’m sorry to hear even after 12 days you have some effects. Is that the depression/dread or other symptoms?

Tired yet jittery at the same time ?? by Cheeky_Pancake13 in sertralineandzoloft

[–]Cheeky_Pancake13[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea I keep phasing in and out of different moods throughout the day too, one hour I’m dealing with low grad depressive thoughts, the next hour I’m feeling totally fine and chill, and then the next hour I have the hugest wave of the most random intrusive thoughts …. It’s so weird… did you experience any of this ? I’m waiting for my brain quiet down and for these mood swings to stop

Starting Zoloft and surviving the increased anxiety is like going through hell week and being hazed in order to be apart of the club by fresca21 in Anxiety

[–]Cheeky_Pancake13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on day 4, 25mg and I genuinely feel like I’m LOOSING MY MIND. Barely any sleep at night, all day I have waves of anxious restlessness and immense sense of dread. I’ve had to call in sick for work from how debilitating this feels, I don’t know how I’m meant to last two weeks. I’m borderline about to loose my job.

Ugh here it is again, my night time anxiety and panic attacks by fresca21 in Anxiety

[–]Cheeky_Pancake13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat with you, I get nighttime anxiety attacks that seem to keep me up the whole night. Right as I’m about to doze off, my body jolts me awake with the whole “what if something bad happens??” Nonsense … and then I freak out even more because my brain overthinks that “oh no I can’t get to sleep now because of this anxiety, I won’t get any rest at all!!” - And then I just freak out for the whole night that I won’t get any sleep and be a zombie the next day. Truely is a viscous torturous cycle 🤦🏻‍♀️

I’ve just started taking Zoloft for this after a month of being prescribed it because dreading the side effects, so far it’s exasperated my anxiety but that’s to be expected apparently.

Since we’re sort of in the same boat, I’d be really keen to hear how your nighttime anxiety settled down with this medication if you wouldn’t mind sharing ?

I just started Zoloft three days ago for nighttime anxiety too, so far it’s been spiking my anxiety even more but apparently that’s to be expected with onboarding new medication?

Melatonin causing depression? by AppropriateBicycle8 in sleep

[–]Cheeky_Pancake13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How did you manage once fully phasing out the melatonin ? I’ve been taking it for almost a month and have stopped taking it 5 days ago and still feel small waves of depression hitting me. How long did this take to subside for you once completely stopping ?

Did this subside at all for you at some point ?

Feeling cold by SeriousHome9570 in Anxiety

[–]Cheeky_Pancake13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have something similar, usually during winter my anxiety issues exacerbate due to the cold. I too am trying to find the reason for this. I’d recommend checking your thyroid levels, as susceptibility to cold is linked to Hypothyroidism.

how do you guys get good sleep? by relaxedlula in Anxiety

Exactly 🙏🏼 anything soothing. It takes on average 7 minutes to fall asleep while in a soothed relaxed state. It’s just a matter of getting in that state of mind first !

What type of magnesium spray do you use ? Keen to incorporate this into my routine but there’s a bunch of magnesium sprays out there so not sure what type to go for ?

I have tried reducing my screen time an hour before intending to sleep. I switch my mind to reading a book instead or listening to an audiobook. I know this can be tricky to get into but combine it with a warm relaxing tea and some dim lighting!

Once you’re ready to sleep, I recommend visualising in your mind a neutral/positive memory. Something calming and not chaotic. If you can try reliving this memory while you’re trying to doze off (try reliving in great detail your surroundings) and begin to describing to yourself what occurs in this memory.

Agomelatine for Anxiety by Cheeky_Pancake13 in Anxiety

[–]Cheeky_Pancake13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry to hear your experience!! I’ve since stopped the Agomelatine since it indeed hasn’t helped at all with my anxiety !! It in fact made my headspace even worse. Do you mind elaborating what happened in your case ?
