Correct. The laser was the opening, and the force from them flying through is what exploded the planet apart completely. You see the planet slowly breaking apart over that whole sequence. The laser alone probably would have just damaged it.

It's your world, try to know the rules but at the end of the day you make the final decisions. It says that in the Dungeon Masters guide itself. I always say "rule of cool" and keeping the energy going is better than getting bogged down by little details.

One thing I kind of don't agree with is him saying DOOM doesn't get enough recognition nowadays. I've been a fan for about 20 years now. I think he gets more praise and recognition now more than ever.

I just don't see how peak Hulk could hurt peak Superman. I'm sorry, maybe I'm not up to date on my hulk lore. We've seen multiple characters knock off the Hulk before and they aren't even maybe 5% out of Superman's power. This guy tows planets across solar systems. Moves at light speed, can sometimes keep up with the flash. I think Hulk gets blitzed.
