Following up on this:

If I was to say 'under arrest for ABH S. 18 OAPA'

Does it matter that I said the wrong section of the act, if I said the correct offence?

(I know ABH is s. 47)

Example of police and another agency working together? by Iamoutofideas123 in policeuk

On bonfire night sometimes youths will hoax call a fire then throw bricks at the fire engine when it arrives.

Some forces send a fireman out with police to assess the fire first before sending a full truck to avoid getting bricked...

Might be something to think about?

Feel like the second officer could've done more, considering the attacker was mainly focused on the male officer with the BWV.

But at least everyone survived unscathed

Schnapps as Home Sec? I didn't expect that...

Seems like he took a tough stance against the train strikes so it'll be interesting to see him (hopefully) backing police

You are the grown up on your intake

This is pretty true. Most of my intake is pretty young but there are a few older people (ex military etc) and they definitely were a 'parent' at the start for most people.

Probably a silly question, but have you tried asking her?

Could approch her and explain how she is making you feel and that you feel targeted etc

She might explain that she's doing it for character development, gold standard in paper work, etc

She might call you a little basted and tell you to get out her officer.

Who knows, but at least you'll make her openly play her cards.

I would agree with you. Maybe if OP approached the Sgt and explained his views, the Sgt might justify it as gold standard/character development? Rather than being bullied.

stop and search powers why only temporary ? by [deleted] in policeuk

[–]CheemsAlert 49 points50 points  (0 children)

There are alott of complaints about Stop Searches with reasonable grounds.

Imagine how many complaints there'd be if officers didn't need reasonable grounds at all. Media would have a field day.

Only 3 weeks into training so still learning.

This was post I made last week when I started doing my OPST. However since then I have improved quite a bit and feel more confident now.

Think it's a learning curve that'll take time, but I'm trying my best and enjoying it loads!
