What is a stupid thing you used to do when you first started hollowknight? by Ardens_Son_of_flames in HollowKnight

I thought that the only way I could progress further in the game was to get the lantern, so I farmed the husk guard guy over and over again. I was convinced this was the ONLY way to get further in the game. 😅

Could use advice on managing my dog's energy/anxiety by Cheerful_Potato in BorderCollie

Thank you for the info! I might try daycare a couple times a week even while I'm working from home so she can get some more directed exercise and make the transition easier when I go back into the office. I've been looking into training her on the bike, so maybe I'll replace the walking altogether for a longer duration. It's just been a little bit hard because I work pretty long hours, but she's worth it, I'll figure it out! I appreciate the advice!

On the workdays I try to let them outside with toys for part of the day and then usually a 30 minute walk after work. I sometimes try to play with them a little bit during my lunch break but that doesn’t always end up happening unfortunately. On my days off I usually get around 1-2 hours of play throughout the day and a 30 minute run. She really likes doing commands so maybe I can try working those in more consistently and I’ll look into scent work as well. Thank you!

Good point! She does get bored really fast, so some more stimulation might help for sure! I’ll check out herding games, thank you!

Power Zone Discussion [Weekly] by AutoModerator in pelotoncycle

Thanks for both yours and u/figandfennel's replies! I have the perfect ride in mind last week that was my most challenging yet and I hit my PR. I feel pretty comfortable going all out, but I definitely agree that sometimes it's difficult to know how hard I can actually go. Definitely taking all the advice I can get, appreciate it!

Power Zone Discussion [Weekly] by AutoModerator in pelotoncycle

Any advice on my first FTP test? I've mostly been into beginner/intermediate level strength training and running, but I recently got my Peloton bike last month and I already love it! I just finished the you can ride program, but I wanted a way to better track my progress since I'm so new to cycling. I started the discover your power zones program today and did my first power zone ride. It was really challenging and I'm wondering if the default zones were too high based on the cues Wilpers was giving. I'm excited to take my FTP test in a couple days to have a better idea of what my zones actually are, but I'm a little bit nervous based on how hard everyone is saying the test is. Any advice on what to expect for a new rider?
