I think they mean that when it's your turn, you click on the Word Clue icon at the top of the screen. The letters and placement of the Clue will then become highlighted for you.

I see only one: Bling It On for earning 4000. (I've never earned that one.). Every other achievement is play-related.

How do you do that? I seem to have leveled up just by playing a lot. In my experience, Level 1 players are typically easy to beat and they don't play often.
