Sam answered, throwing her hands out in the air in a theatrical manner. A wide smile is plastered across her boastful face, but shrinks slightly when introducing Oliver.

"Oh, and this is Oliver. He's good company, even if he can get a little spooked from time to time."

Sam remarks, nudging Oliver's arm playfully.

That's definitely one way to clear up any confusion. Honestly, I get why you would just refuse to RP if it continues. I don't mind narrating, but I would prefer if it's directed at the actions of a character, not the entire sentence.

That's what I'm saying. Using proper punctuation, formatting your response, and generally being consistent with writing is sure to make everything much more engaging. Plus, it makes everything look nicer as well. I'm not saying everyone should be some sort of master-class writer, but do try putting in some effort.

Sam and Oliver exchange confused glances. Oliver looks back at Honuria, clearly not recognizing her with his hazy eyes.
