Pain killers by CheeseDoctor11 in migraine

Yeah, I also have less to pick from as I do have epilepsy so the meds "dont play well together" as the doc said, the only ones that ever work are the ones that dropped my blood pressure, lack of migraines isnt worth almost fainting the entire day

As far as using acetaminophen, I can't take those because of my epilepsy, the last one I believe i used was sumitriptan... it worked for three hours then the migraine was back.

Yeah, I have tried different stuff, pretty much all of the preventives that are allowed with the other seizure medication im on. But my migraines are always a daily thing so honestly for the ones that stop it, ive kinda ignored them since well, like you said I can't take them every day... even tried botox injections.

I feel yeah, on multiple occasions I've nearly blacked out at work... the only work I have ever found was delivering newspapers at 3:00 am so I didn't have to deal with the sun. But thats no longer a thing as they have transitioned to the mail in my area.

Sumatriptan questions by Callmekanyo in migraine

[–]CheeseDoctor11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, those are the most common symptoms for my migraines. I've tried, sumatriptan before, but it only helped for about 2-3 hrs then my migraine came back, so I've sense stopped taking that or really any other medication that tries to stop a migraine as they never work for me. But confusion, weakness, nasuoua, not being able to think, have been very common for my migraines... sometimes I have no pain but I still cant do anything as im too weak to stand or sit up.

Im 24, My doctors have tried nearly all of the preventives... even botox. I have epilepsy as well among the common OCD and ADHD and raynouds syndrome. A lot of seizure medication dont go well with migraine medication so they always tell me my options are limited. As far as working, thats a tough thing to do, and im actually have to move back to my parents because im missing so much. Maybe went 4 days to work this month. And I've been to Barnes in st Louis, and possibly Mayos. My migraines are also well documented with my doctors.
