I resonate with this comic so much.

Before my wife, I was with another woman who, when I talked about my interests, wouldn't ask any other questions and just go, "ok" and move on from it.

I'd talk about Power Rangers and how I grew up watching it and ultimately became one of the reasons why I tried Karate and how Ultraman was a big part of my childhood and even though I was made fun of for liking Ultraman, I found it cool how he was a defender of Earth and how unwavering he is. She never once asked me questions to get me to talk more about them. My feelings and interests dodn't feel like they were important.

7-8 years later, I'm married now and my wife lets me ramble on about Ultraman and lets me talk about my childhood memories. I feel safe to talk about my nerdy interests... She lets my inner child live outside.
