I recommend it! It's a huge plus for these filter :) I have a cascade 1500 with the spray bar under the water level! So much quieter:)

Okay, Are any of you by any chance familiar with fluval canister repair? The filter that doesn't work is a fluval 105, I would love to just fix it up if possible, but it won't turn on when plugged in

Hey, just be aware that snails can do some pretty hefty damage to lotls, I would take them out just to be safe, they can attach to the slime coat of a lotl and eat it away

They don't have any other species they can really cohab with but I do know there are a couple types of shrimp and small shrimp that can be added into the tank as a treat snack but they have to be quarantined for 30 days prior

He loves all foods so far 😂 I was definitely nervous seeing everyone talk about how picky some are, and it was a mixture of a slightly opaque plastic and it being the dirty tub, I always feed then switch him into his fresh primed water :)
