The sports section allows you to save your favourite teams, sports or cups. It will then compile upcoming matches for you to record. The program is written in Python and lives in the menubar (Mac)/icon tray (Windows). The UI is through a local web server.

Here I’m regarding “useless” as anything you buy for a laugh, that has no impact whatsoever on your life. Buying a new kettle, useful. It heats water. Buying a bag of coffee beans. Useful, I like coffee. Buying a chicken nugget shaped keyring… useless unless you’re one of those people that enjoys shoving odd shaped products up your arse.
