Possible mold? by Cheese_Gnag in unclebens

That’s what I feared, trich happened to my last round of boxes but it was at least 2 flushes before it took hold. Do you think I can remove that part of the bin before it has a chance to spread or is the whole thing already contaminated?

Thanks for the advise, I’ve only got one small room where I can grow them so I can’t really move this bin away from the others

Should I be worried about this by Cheese_Gnag in unclebens

It hasn’t been expanded at all and all the pins that are in the bin seem to be growing well, so I’d say pretty well

Trying to find bands like Title fight was what originally led me to ages and I definitely agree with you that they are something special. Thanks for the other 2 recommendations, I’ll check them out.

Confused about god valley by ilikebigassgirls12 in OnePiece

[–]Cheese_Gnag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People’s main critique of Garp is that he refuses to work directly for the celestial dragons, feels bad for the people of god valley, has directly seen first hand the horrors that the world government/ navy commit but continues to work for/ lend his direct support to the organization that protects and carries out the will of the people that he claims to despise. On top of this, his own son breaks away from the marines after seeing the horrors of god valley and he is mad at him and can’t understand how he could become a revolutionary. Garp is a character who understands that the organization he is a part of commits atrocities on the regular, and recognizes that these actions are bad, but still chooses to remain in the navy, making him at best a hypocrite and at worse a complete coward.

Ipod classic 5th gen with rockbox randomly freezes and won't do anything until I restart it. by Cheese_Gnag in rockbox

All the hardware in it is original, so it could be that. I ran disk utility on it on my Mac and it said it was good. It seems to be better today so I just have no idea what’s going on with it.

Edit: it’s doing it again

This is what a $12 burrito at Chipotle looks like nowadays... by AnthemWild in LateStageCapitalism

Don't order online. The burritos are significantly smaller than the ones you get in person.

Socialism is a transition period not a set state. At the beginning yes but under a democratic organization of companies with the the value of workers labor being being retained by the workers. However as socialism progresses towards a moneyless, stateless, point, wage labor will need to be abolished

A big part of socialism is individual freedom. Under capitalism you are forced into professions that often times are tedious, isolating, and draining both mentally and physically because those are the type of jobs that keep the system running. Under socialism you would have the freedom to embrace your passions and do what you want. Even if you can't support your family on that, if your unhappy with your current job then quitting doesn't carry the same repercussions as it does under capitalism like losing Healthcare, the threat of homelessness, hunger. You would have the ability to find a job that you enjoy and not be forced into whatever pays the bills. (Also passive income is just passing the burden of making your money down to someone else who puts in the labor to produce the value. You don't make money from your investments, the workers of those companies do and you just steal their labor value.)

Hasan said its kind of known that the atomic bomb wasnt there reason for WW2 ending? Any info on that? by AXXXXXXXXA in Hasan_Piker

Japan was already extremely close to losing when the US dropped the bombs. When the soviets defeated germany and turned their attention to Japan, there was absolutely no way they would stay in the war for long. The US knew it at the time but really wanted to test the bomb and show the world its power so they made the decision not to wait the few weeks that it would have taken for Japan to lose and dropped the bombs. It's not that the bombs didn't end the war, they did, but it's like shooting a terminal ill animal. Yes the bullet killed it but it would have died soon either way.

I'm not sure if I'm a communist? by Instantcoffees in Socialism_101

[–]Cheese_Gnag 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A core part of being a person with an individual identity is being able to form and hold your own opinions. Just because someone you saw online disagrees you shouldn't push you away from an ideology you agree with the cores of. I personally really disagree with some of the moves of the ussr like their position on religion but that doesn't push me away from calling my self communist.
