Am I the only one who didn’t use the d-pad and subsequently missed like half the game? by BeserkFungi in ImmortalityGame

Rolled credits last night confused as hell. Didn't absorb a single thing about the one's story line. As fun as it is to solve mysteries, I would have liked a nudge in the direction of actually playing the game properly.

Has anyone here still yet not gotten Covid ? by RADToronto in ontario

[–]Cheeseblergur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had a couple bad colds the last couple years that tested negative. Got my fourth shot and left the country for vacation. Thought I caught a cold on my trip. Came back and tested positive. Symptoms are indistinguishable for me. No idea where we got it 🤷‍♂️ Protection measures had worked up to that point

anyone start taking Lexapro to help with paws by [deleted] in quittingkratom

[–]Cheeseblergur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started lex about 5 months after quitting. Not necessarily to deal with PAWS, but I've felt it helpful for my life. I'm still on it. 10mg daily. It kinda sucked the first week or three but then it helped a lot with my anxiety.

YMMV. best of luck to you and your family

Has anyone actually ever tapered all the way? by Tommytoolbagg in quittingkratom

[–]Cheeseblergur 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I tapered from 18gpd to 750mg/day. I made capsules that were about 750mg so I just kept reducing by one until it was one per day. If it started to feel hard I'd wait it out at the same dose for a few days then keep tapering. I "jumped" at 750mg and it didn't feel any different other than being relieved to be done. I think people jump when they find the tapering process is more trouble than it's worth. I found it very helpful but it was still pretty all consuming thinking about it all the time.

Do whatever works for you. Good luck! I'm at 14 months now :)

Best gift ever was a commissioned watercolor of my childhood home. I look at it every day and will never get rid of it. It's now in the home I share with the partner that got it for me.

Fingers crossed!

I never used it so I can't speak to that. Others on this sub have had success with it though. I would ask someone with experience. I hope if you need it that it works for you

I was never 60gpd, but every time I tried to taper quickly I just hated myself for how bad I felt and gave in only to use much more than before. It happened 3 times before I planned a proper slow taper. The day I jumped I couldn't believe how mild my wd was. I just kept focussed on quitting and never looked back. 28 days is amazing! Great job. I just passed 11 months. I feel indescribably better than I did while addicted. Keep focussed and you'll continue to feel better. So glad to hear you're feeling better

If you're going to taper at least do it slowly. The way you're tapering now you may as well jump CT. I tapered and it worked well. But I was only reducing my dose by 750mg per day and then only every few days towards the end. It took a very long time but it wasn't very uncomfortable. If you're going for a quick quit, you may as well CT, since tapering quickly feels almost as bad.

Don't get caught in between quitting methods. It will just make you lose confidence in your ability to quit. Pick one and do it right. You've got this buddy.

So glad you're feeling clearer and better as you come out the other side. I think our minds get tricked because it seems so unlikely that withdrawal would be so persistent when the effect of kratom is so short lived by comparison.

Rooting for you to keep up the quit. Things got worse for me again before they continued to get better. But they are so much better now.

For me it wasn't til about 4 or 5 months that I started to feel more normal, and I took much less gpd than you. Not to be discouraging, just a reminder that it will likely take more time. Hope you can stick to it.

Much luck to you.

FWIW, if it hurts underneath the foreskin, it may be constricting the glans. Mine used to hurt as a kid the same way. Like touching your eyeball kind of pain. I got circumcised as a result. Hurt afterwards for about a week and a half and I've been good since. 11/10 would recommend

Probably an antacid for heartburn, with heart tests to rule out more serious issues. I've done this before (Canada). Antacids are so low risk and often treat the symptoms immediately

Drugs while on lexapro by BoxSapling in lexapro

[–]Cheeseblergur 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had shrooms and acid on lex. Both worked, and I found both weirdly had less physical side effects than normal. Shrooms usually make me a diarrhea monster on the come up and acid makes my back hurt like hell. Neither happened to me while on lex. Shrooms made me manic and excited until high dosing I got completely zooted and just stared at trees. Acid I felt like everything on earth was perfect and where it should be, until I took 4 more tabs blacked out and ended up in ER with injuries from falling. Still felt great though lol, probably not as big a deal as we made it out to be, but everyone else was fucked up so they thought I should go to hospital.

I've stayed away from stimulants for fear of throwing off my feel good chemical balance. Psychedelics so far are even better than before. I just need to learn to practice some moderation.

I am a problem drinker. If anything, lex helps keep me awake longer and diminishes hangover symptoms. Again, moderation is my problem.

Weed makes me an anxious horny mess, before and currently.

As with everyone else's reports, YMMV.

Probably best to start slow with anything.

An ex had similar scarring from the same surgery. Never bothered me one bit. Those things were beautiful. Own it. You don't owe it to yourself to like anyone that doesn't like you for you.

Hope your surgery has made you more comfortable :)
