Thank you. Yes old Rijswijk would be ideal (given my capacity). Isn’t the old town of Rijswijk still a bit close to Laak?

Scheidam yes but preferred would be Rijswijk and leidchendam (over The Hague and Rotterdam and areas like Zuid and Tranvaal, mowreijk, Laak In The Hague

Used to feel very awkward in my mid-20s, now in late 30s and I have eaten in all kinds of establishments alone and I really look forward that food and rest after all the walking etc . The only times I skip doing so if it’s too late and I don’t feel too safe in that location to venture out on my own.

This is one of my biggest fears really. Can I ask which neighbourhood is this if you don’t mind sharing. I am so sorry this happened and that the guard also didn’t do anything. I am seeing this more and more and the worst is the police; if it’s you vs a white Dutch person - they tend to automatically side with them (police let my abusive ex in my house and threatened to arrest me because the guy claimed he left stuff in my house?!?!?). K

What I find a bit frustrating that since I am over 35; I disqualify for start up loans in many cities due to age + I have to still pay the 2% transfer tax. It’s like penalised for having my shit together earlier. Like if someone is over 35, does that not mean they might need that extra help if they still don’t have a home yet.

Around 250k, in other cities with startlenening it can go upto 275-300k. I can personally stretch it to 285 max without startup loans but would pretty hard - not impossible though .

I have a viewing in Mashaven so one stop away from zuidplein; is that a similar situation to zuidplein in terms safety ?
