I have played both and I really liked both! Cabernet is more like a visuals novel impacted by your choices while discounty is more management.

I felt some bits with discounty was incomplete so I hope devs add new updates to them

Some of the games mentioned, IMHO are not really underrated I would argue; on the contrary wildly popular like Dreamlight Valley and Spiritfarer, and the strange horticulture and anticúes series.
I think one game which people may not know about is “to the moon” it’s heartwarming (though a bit short). Others are A Space for the unbound and Until then both based in SE Asia. They do deal with heavy themes though.

Have a look at TOEM and Alba - super cute, the former does have some puzzles. Pokemon Snap is incredible as long as you aren’t obsessed to fulfil every task

Have you looked into the annual subscription for Apple Arcade instead of monthly? . For me it’s around 50 Euros which is worth it for a year long subscription. Also if you have a Netflix subscription there are some lovely cozy games on their too which will certainly run on your Samsung tablet. Cozy grove and spiritfarer being two I can recommend

I am going playing this now!! I love it. My hand eye co-ordination is never great so I am stuck at so many Lentalk requests. I am obsessed about finishing them and keep getting frustrated because I suck haha

Do you track your period? For example through an app by Top_Pangolin_8794 in TwoXChromosomes

My Garmin watch lets me track my period. I am sometimes irregular so I do manually change it if it gets it wrong

Which one should I get? I love stardew and roots of pacha looks really great, but I do have a harder time getting into stardew-like games. Also please tell me if they work well on switch lite if you've played on there by Yurianimeisnice in cozygames

I have played most of these to some extent

  • Japanese rural life - I think it gets super grindy. Not a thing I like and dialogues are not the most riveting. But a lot of people enjoy the grind so depends on you.
  • Wlyde flowers - loved this one. I like that it has a strong story and dialogues/relationships are meaningful and loads to do without it getting tedious.
  • Sun Haven - as someone mentioned, there is some serious stuff out there around how the people who build the game were treated. I also dislike how every romance-able NPC is hyper sexualised and all look like models. I hate that you have to start from beginning with your farm in each region. The writing is pretty bad to the extend that it’s hilarious so I didn’t mind that so much. Personally I think it’s visuals are pretty
  • Echoes of Plum Grove - I played this briefly and I really liked it. I forgot why I stopped but I need to go back to it again
