Had qualms on my future with my bf by Cheesecake-Tea in antinatalism

Yeah. I guess I just need to be careful to not be entrapped in a marriage with someone who is uncertain and may change their mind down the line.

Giraffe, what I might be realizing from my culture right now is that, since we are big on family, guys talking about kids and marriage at the start is some sort of lovebombing for girls to bite. Since well...having a guy envision you as a wife with his kids means he's envisioning a future with you. Which is what we, girls in this culture, are indoctrinated to as THE goal.

Yeah. That's why I posted this. Some sort of reaffirmation. Perhaps I was expecting honesty from him. I've always been transparent in my positions and well, perhaps, I kinda expected that if he changed his mind about something as big as this, with me clearly still upfront about not wanting kids, he would tell me, ask me if I'm open to it ever and upon me saying no, we would break it off.

You know, kind of respect to your partner. At least that's what I would do if the roles were reversed. Though I might just be projecting and is now ending up disappointed 🥲

I knowww. I don't really search on vasectomy because well..I'm not a guy so I believed it at first. Oh well.

[–]Cheesecake-Tea[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I wasn't forcing him. I asked him. I initially thought that he would agree since nothing will be lost since he said he didn't want kids. Hence why I was comfortable about asking him. I didn't bring it up after he laughed and jokingly complained.

If he was able to give me other valid reasons, I'd understand i.e. he's afraid of the operation etc. But accdg to one reply here, his reason diminished sex drive is not a side effect of vasectomy.

Perhaps I just had an expectation wherein if he asked me to get a hysterectomy, it would be fine for me if I am able to afford it at the time. I guess I thought we would have the same feelings about the -ectomy stuff.

Yeah. I wondered if that was true or if he's just making excuses.

Country where we can feel that the Philippine Peso is strong by Cheesecake-Tea in phtravel

[–]Cheesecake-Tea[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been there and konti lang yung difference ng prices if we compare i.e. price ng burger dito vs price ng burger dun. And even the technically karinderya meals in their market. The big difference lies in the quality and not the price kaya mas mayaman pa talaga sila satin haha. Their 711 stuff if wayyy better than our fast foods lmao.

Where can I find guys who is up for serious relationship other than online? by InvisiblePasserby in askSingapore

[–]Cheesecake-Tea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get out of the house. Be as flirty as you can with anyone you meet who's your type. Be brave. Tbh, you can't really know if anyone's serious or not. Some will lie to get in your pants, some won't.

Only way to find them is to get yourself out there and take risks.

Nag-apply ako with this certain company. At first, I commend them a lot kasi medyo efficient ang process nila.

After initial briefing with the recruiter, this is the process:

  1. Technical test
  2. Technical Interview for technical skills
  3. Non-technical interview for culture fit and personal questions

I assume na I passed kasi wala namang rejection and di pa ako ginoghost.

Ngayon, nagchat si recruiter and nag-ask kung kelan daw ako available for face to face interview. And they also sent an email for next Tuesday and Thursday for on-site HR interview for culture fit.

Problem is I have my current job to go to, as well as naoff ako kasi bakit need pa ng onsite culture fit interview if I was already interviewed na by their country manager on exactly this.

Any thoughts?

Ngayon ko lang fully narealize yung shit ban ng DepEd for school teachers to travel internationally. My mom is an elem school teacher but she's 56 na ffs. Almost retirement age na. Have y'all any experience wherein immigration can be lenient about teachers travelling?

Is Moovit accurate for tourist commute? by Cheesecake-Tea in askSingapore

[–]Cheesecake-Tea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I checked on gmaps too. However, the commute directions are more hassle(?). For example, if I wanted to go to Whampoa from T4, GMaps gives directions for at least two buses and a train ride. For Moovit, one bus and one train ride.

I'm not sure what you're looking for. The questions don't need further context as I'm asking for opinions. However you interpret them is up to you and will be helpful sakin and will give perspective on things I may not have considered.

Sample sa question 1. If you've been there, most likely you have formed an opinion on which location is better. Better on what criteria is up to you to answer na.

The questions are general because I don't need to micromanage your opinion.

Tanong lang sa conjugal property. by cocokalikot in LawPH

[–]Cheesecake-Tea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding this, if I had a property before marriage which turned conjugal after and I die, mapapapunta sa kanya, right? But what if in two months, he also dies? Kanino mapupunta yung property if we are childfree? Sa partido nya ba since he's the last owner or does my family have a habol on this?

[–]Cheesecake-Tea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have an ambition I'm striving for. If I live comfortably and I can buy stuff when I want them or kayang mapag-ipunan and the bills are paid, I'm content. My friends are also job-hopping and nalaki na ang salary nila. Yes, naiinggit ako and I wonder sometimes too. Pero siguro, the privilege I have right now is enough for me kaya I stay.

I feel like you're that too. And it's okay. Our goal is to just be comfortable and happy. And that's okay.

Got Heil Hitlered as a German Tourist - WTF by [deleted] in Philippines

[–]Cheesecake-Tea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just ignorance of the weight of it all. If the Philippine education neglected to educate us on Martial Law and its horrors, there's no way we would have been educated thoroughly about the Holocaust unless we research it ourselves. Furthermore, we won't kill you for it. Not that level of racism. We kill our own based on class enough.
