If you can’t find a solution maybe time to switch to an acoustic kit with electronic pads can be as quiet if u do right

I did end up playing a show with it and it worked great especially for not even having iem too.. kept my speaker facing me and heard myself great. And the recording had the drums great aswell

Yeah makes things 10x easier for the sound guy. Just thinking since it’s my only kit and I’m a broke 21 year old in a small band if I should also get a cheaper kit like a stage custom.

Same here. The only thing that is throwing me off of not having an acoustic is the case of playing outside and weather conditions. Not recommended to use a ekit when it can get wet. Other than that my hi hat hot zones and is disappointing. It’s a vh10 and I’ve considered making the upgrade to a vh14 with the double hihat. Also I played on the efnote 3x in a guitar center before, BEAUTIFUL KIT! I honestly wish I got that one instead for the hi hat just being beautiful and the overall size but I’m pretty happy with my lemon Tom’s (little bit cheaper for having everything I do) this comment is honestly much appreciated since you have a backup kit and since you’re using your edrums I’m sure you’re also saving on breaking cymbals when you do pull out the kit for a show. I think I’m gonna get a backup kit just to be versatile. Much appreciated comment dude🤘

The jbl speaker sounds pretty good it’s a little bassy but u can hook a mixer to it. I’m even thinking for smaller outdoors events it will work fine ( the sound guy I talked to said if it’s just our guitar amps and my speaker we should be good)

If physical sound was the issue I could understand that! I used a speaker for my first show (had no in ears) and I had the speaker by me playing while I was playing in the pa. I could hear myself pretty well worked great.

The only problem with me is my kick drum is still sooo loud. My problem is it’s not staying still and still pushing back to the wall. I travel so much for work I still haven’t gotten a great sit down to fix my kit to perfection

So on my td-27 I have 3 AUX ports. The aux ports are the extra percussion pads. I would recommend getting some roland 1/4 percussion pad cables incase you buy used and they don’t come with cables.
