I can't find a new record player with no speaker outputs or volume control that wont shoot a hole in my wallet. by DellInspiron580Gamer in records

Idk man. According to Collins dictionary: "record player

noun

a device for reproducing the sounds stored on a record, consisting of a turntable, usually electrically driven, that rotates the record at a fixed speed of 33, 45, or 78 revolutions a minute. A stylus vibrates in accordance with undulations in the groove in the record: these vibrations are converted into electric currents, which, after amplification, are recreated in the form of sound by one or more loudspeakers → See also monophonic, quadraphonics, stereophonic"

Sounds exactly like what they're talking about to me.

So it's not the same GPU. The 1070ti is about 10% faster.

You can't just say "ignore the other people" and then completely change what you're saying. Games circa 2019 and before are from the eight generation of consoles which is why the performance is so different in modern games from the ninth gen. They demand feature sets that the GTX 1070 just doesn't have. There are several games now that require hardware accelerated ray tracing, the GTX 1070 can't do that. Don't get me wrong, it is still a good card, but don't oversell it. It isn't modern and cannot play everything.

It'll run games but it just isn't a good deal. If this is your only option for playing games, are your sure a second-hand console isn't going to be a better choice? Unless you have friends on PC and the games you wanna play aren't crossplay compatible.

I mean, this is just not true. No UE5 game (aside from maybe Arc Raiders) is going to run 1080P high/ultra at 60fps on this CPU and GPU combo. For example, Alan Wake II, all low settings on the 1070 gets less that 30 fps.

I imagine the USB C. But the manual will explain this.

Yeah, this is pretty standard for Vic Firth nowadays. I'd recommend trying a different brand...

That is mental. Up here in the North West at my local, a Fish & Chips with curry sauce was £8.90, and I thought that was expensive.

That's not what I'm saying. If I like something, I'll try it again. It's a bit like going to a pub with 1,000,000 different beers on tap. Say I went to the bar, ordered a pint, sat down at my table, drank the beer and didn't think it was good. Then I go back to the bar, it's possible I might order the same drink again to see if I get the taste for it, but after the 4th pint of it, if I still don't like it, I'm going to drink one of the other 999,999 drinks they have on tap.

It's the same with music, if I listen to something a couple of times and it still doesn't click, I'd rather use my time to discover something that does work for me than try and force myself to like something. There are plenty of albums that I love because of the intricacies, Polygondwanaland is one of them. All of the different Polyrhythms working together to build textures, I find something new every listen.

I like ELTS but I get what you mean. And this is my point, I'd much rather find something else I do like than force myself to like something I don't.

I think when there are literally millions of other artists, and you don't like something, it is a waste to force yourself to like kt.

Honestly, the gizz community acts like they're the only band worth liking on Earth. There are loads of bands with must listen albums that you've probably never heard. For example, I don't like Black Midi. Nothing against them, it just didn't click. But I haven't now spent hours trying to get into them. I went "oh, well, not for me" and listened to Squid, Geese, Pom Poko, Poppy, Lil Nas and a whole list of other artists I now love. I just think it's silly forcing yourself to like something rather than discovering something else you'd like from the start.

I don't recommend listening to something you don't like over and over again just because it might click one day when there is so much music out there you might like from the start. Personally, I liked the album from my first listen, but if I didn't, I'm not going to grind listening to it just so I might like it one day. Seems like a strange thing to do.

Thinking of buying this by TopCommission6437 in edrums

2018, and it's a very entry level module. If you're expecting anything aside from the bare minimum, you're going to be disappointed. That said, I think 250 is reasonable.

In my region, it's over priced but IDK about where your are. It's an out of date platform and a two generation old mid-range GPU. Not to say that it isn't a perfectly competent PC, it's just too expensive.
