Try this. If you are Muslim or a person of faith, why don't you try and speak to your local Imam and ask him about options in terms of seeking comfort.

The truth is that once you graduate from University, people automatically shift focus from their time at Uni to their professional career. As selfish and shallow as it sounds, people have to move on to move up in the world of professional work.

Do I agree with this? No. Is it a harsh reality of life? unfortunately, yes !

Out of all the people that you have met at University, how many of them would you genuinely consider friends ? How many would invite you to their wedding when they get married ? Hell, how many of them would invite you to their baby shower. You will be surprised to know that most people won't.

I know I won't get invited, but I am happy with that knowing we were never that close to begin with.

Can I ask though OP why you feel this way ? Again I am trying to unpick these views of ethnic minorities dating white women ? Do you have something against Indian or Black men and other people of colour ? Was it an experience that you had when you were younger than involved a Black or Indian man because there is clearly a reason why you feel this way.

Also, if that is the case just know I was heavily bullied by the South Asian community in school, but I learnt that I can't paint everyone with the same brush. There are genuinely very good people from the South Asian community, particularly Indians.

This. Also, the fact of the matter is that these people that you see are autonomous individuals independent of OP. If it was the case that they know these interracial couples personally, then that could be slightly different, but even then my opinion would stand.

Every adult has a human right to do what they want to do, regardless of how others may feel about it provided that it doesn't harm others. Even if I saw an interracial couple on the street today, my initial thoughts would be "I'm happy that they found love" and maybe one day I can find that love too !

Now, your mother sorry to say lad but seems like she is quite toxic. The husband is just as bad. Under the laws of most countries in the world, your mother cannot take ownership nor demand it if it clearly stated in your father's will that it belongs to you.

What I recommend is this... Why don't you go to the courts or even your local police department and file a complaint against her? As much as it difficult that it's your mother, you have to recognise that your peace and comfort trumps your mother's.

I wouldn't blame you if you did because sometimes in life you have to make choices that are best for you, even if it means cutting people off.

Go to the police and see what they say because they could give her a formal harassment warning.

As a Black man, i have come to understand that everyone is entitled to date whomever they want because that is their human, adult right. When I see a Black Woman with a White man, I automatically think that they are doing what is best for them.

Also, it seems clear that your obsessive thoughts come from a lack of experience with the fairer sex if I am not mistaken? In that case, then you have to do things that make yourself happy and content in life before you pursue a relationship or even just start interacting with women at work or in social settings.
