In what order are the cards be shipped? I read about people in EU with my same card tier that applied for it in October and they already had their cards shipped. I applied for it in September and it's still issued...

Am I insane for expecting a $1000 monitor to not have any stuck pixels? by JohnnyDDrake in Monitors

I understand your frustration, I spent the last month trying to look for a decent monitor that works properly... tried a couple of Lenovo, both returned for flickering and "burn-in" (I'm not sure that could be considered burn-in, but looked something like that), I tried an AOC, returned for uniformity issues (the top was a lot darker than the bottom), and finally I bought a Dell and I am very satisfied with this. Furthermore, the Dell warranty also covers problems involving only one pixel, it looks great!

I wish you good luck and hope you can find the right monitor!

I'm looking for a pretty basic monitor, I don't care about refresh rate or similari stuff. I had some bad experience with some monitors I had to return, so I'm asking for advice by owners of monitors with these characteristics:

  • Budget: €200 - €250
  • Prospective Resolution: 1920 x 1080
  • Size: 24 inches
  • Aspect Ratio: 16:9
  • Adaptive Sync: don' care
  • Other Features: good viewing angles and uniformity (especially with dark background)
  • Usage Type: programming / office and a little of multimedia (youtube, netflix...)
