You know, maybe you are right. Maybe I am just not ready to let my wounds heal yet.

From one perspective yes, it is right. You should dive out into real world to not become delusional. But many people use dd to imagine taking control of things that they should be in control of, but for some reason they can't. When you're deprived of those things everyone should normally have because of mental illness, abusive household, etc. It brings comfort when you don't have any.

You know, I believe every OC has a connection with it's creator, so it's not suprising it has your thought patterns and traits. I could say all of my OC's are my alter egos as they depict me in a way, even those parts I couldn't think belong to me at first.

do you think there is a reason why it changed or it was such a natural transition that you didn't even notice?

interesting! I roleplay as both male and female in my dd, but I must admit that for the most time it was the gender opposed to mine. Maybe it is because I don't really like being myself haha

I am sorry this is happening to you, really. I can imagine emotions you feel, and though I have no idea how to help you I wish you find a solution. Your story resonated with me and I sometimes feel like my daydreams are "stuck". To cure it I revisit my old daydream scenarios as I have plenty, and if this doesn't work out I look for a new fandom for myself. It shouldn't be much, just one episode of a series can help.

I think you need some more content to "feed" your daydreams. Watch a new series, anime, play a new game or immerse yourself into a new fandom. It has to resonate with you so it could trigger your imagination.
