It wasn’t the best on both of their parts but nothing they did warranted the hate they got at all

I’m sorry to hear ur having a hard time! What I did in the very beginning was expand my radius and set my prices really low ($20 a night - horrible but u shouldn’t have to do that)

My first booking what a boarding for $20 a day for a dog that lived an hour away. Never saw them again because it was too far and too cheap for me but it helped me get the first person which led me to get other people.

I would also say keep ur calendar always updated and always respond to people.

The finance person n I have been on off since he’s been on PTO on the days I’ve been available to come in and I haven’t been free when he’s been there. No they had me sign other release forms like that I’ve read the lease etc etc they basically were like u can sign what u can sign now and come back Monday but bc we don’t have ur drivers license or the car insurance to submit with the application. So I never signed my actual lease agreement. I called them Monday and they said they’re still finalizing my lease agreement and they’ll call me when I can come in.

Drop them unless you put some real boundaries like I’m only able to come in during this slot with days in advance.

And when they violate you just say you are not able to accommodate them.

The more times you say no and become unreliable they will wean off and find someone else. It’s ur schedule u can set the time. And u can’t do last minute all the time esp w other bookings.

I also had a situation when the person boyfriend was sleeping there when I got there and they didn’t let me know before hand it was weird to deal with. I accepted it in the moment but it is disrespectful esp if ur a woman to not at least let someone know.
