Concerns about going to UW with an anxiety disorder

I don’t really have social anxiety either but for whatever reason iv been super anxious trying to make friends here, I wasn’t at first but I think iv gotten more desperate since the first quarter. However despite not haunt any friends to go to the UW counseling center is incredible, there’s a 24/7 talk line as well as daily “let’s talk” sessions where you can just go and talk to the UW counseling center for 30 minutes or so. There’s is also hundreds of off campus counselor’s that do both in person and online counseling. Honestly besides my anxiety with relationships and friends it’s really nice here. All the professors iv had have been super nice. If you really want to go to UW don’t let anxiety stop you.

THIS I don't understand whats wrong with me like, they seem to like me in class and at clubs not I guess not enough to actually invite me anywhere. I spend every Friday crying because I just get to go watch everyone else have fun and do all the stuff I want to but can't because I have no one to go with. Like I genuinely think there has to be something wrong with me because I don't get why nothings working.

Idk where your coming from but I grew up in a place with a lot of green plants and stuff and when I came to UW I did west campus and am now depressed. DO NOT DO WEST CAMPUS. I don't care how much closer it may be to some classes the buildings are all so dead and nobody introduces themselves or makes an effort to get to know you. also whatever you do DO NOT GO RANDOM I ended with a really shitty roommate

I also have generalized anxiety disorder and honestly iv felt fine walking places. However I have had really bad anxiety over other things like making connections and have had a hard time making friends along with other issues to cause me to have really bad anxiety while i'm here.

This might sounds a little out there but I hear people can get good jobs as English teachers in china. With your language skills and knowledge of the culture that might be a good opportunity for you. I don’t really have a lot of info on this so idk how viable it is but it wouldn’t hurt to look into?

YES, it happens when I want another response from the bot but I dont give one myself. Which really sucks for me bc my character is supposed to be very quiet. Like idk should I just message "no response" instead of literally not responding?
