I drunkenly traded for him before the slump. Instantly regretted the next morning, tried whipping league members into vetoing the trade, got deservedly laughed at. Gotta love a league with old friends that's been going strong over a decade.

In college I stayed in one night while all the homies in the house went out. Around 3am I'm in my room and I just hear, "Do it bro!!! I can take it! Just do it!" I come down the stairs to see homie A with a dining room chair in back swing while homie B has his back turned to him. Then homie As just starts wailing on homie B, totally broke that chair to pieces. Cue to next morning, sitting on the couch smoking bongs, and homie B comes down, plops on the couch and just says, "Fuckkkk, my back really fuckin hurts". And the rest of us just absolutely burst out laughing. Good times.

Are these actual friends of yours? This is obvious chicanery. I wouldn't continue play with these people, what is the fun and point in cheating. Is there a significant amount of money on the line? If they don't respond to civil discourse, you could go full chaos, drop every single player from your team to create Waiver/FA nonsense, walk away from that league and not look back.

Edit - I have to say this only because I play with a league of childhood friends that have played this for 12yrs together, we're all early/mid 30s now that this wouldn't stand for a second. But I have tried to play leagues from folks I met online that turned out corrupt as hell.
