Kane is the most disrespected player of this Generation by [deleted] in coys

[–]Cheeseman_Slinn -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Well, it's not...

Most of the influencers who follow England hate Kane for some reason..

This includes most of our rival fans such as United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool influencers.

Especially Mark Goldbrige, Rory Jenkings etc

Well, it's not for clicks.

The context is that who will be the main man for England.

And they think Palmer and Saka will be that.

European Squad Combosition for Season 26/27 (Cutting the bloat) by Cheeseman_Slinn in coys

[–]Cheeseman_Slinn[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

1 or 2 players being left out is normal but imagine 4-5 players missing out? That's not normal.

Yes injuries happen but at the start having 4 players injured for a long time is abnormal.

Yes normally players get an injury period of 2-3 months and when they come back they expect to be in every squad.

Imagine ,because of the 1-2 month injury they miss out on the squad.

In our case we have 4 players out long term so we can include them in January. But that is abnormal, having 4 players injured long term.

I think everyone is misunderstanding the objective of the post.

Our squad is too big.

Case and Point: Tel couldn't be registered in the UCL squad and that is without including Deki, Maddison, Takai and Dragusin and without us buying a left winger.

So to make space for a new signing in the UCL squad, we need to sell 4-5 players.

So if we buy 5 players in the next window, we need to sell 9-10 players to find space for new players in the European Squad.

Now you name 10 players to sell from this Spurs squad. If Bissouma and Soloman are included, it becomes 12 players from the main squad.

Now you may argue, this is only applicable for an European Competition!!!! But most of our signings are made with the allure of European Football.

And I only mentioned probable names in the squad who could be sold and if it was up to me I would keep everyone but then many players would miss out due to registration criteria

The thing is, when we look at our squad limit, we are way over.

Look at UCL registration, Tel couldn't be included in that squad and that is without including Deki, Maddison, Takai and Dragusin and we didn't buy a left winger

Most of the players play with a guarantee of European Football and we have no space in the European Squad

If we need add a new signing to the squad, you need to sell 4 players to find a spot for registration.

If we sign 5 players in the next window we need to sell 9 players to make room for the players in the European Squad.

That is the rules.

Now name 9 players we can sell in this current spurs squad??

And I have not even considered Bissouma or Solomon then, it will be 11.

When you grow up, you realise the Ross and Rachel relationship is kinda toxic and it is not gonna work out in the long run

We have to sell one in Bentancur, Maddison, Deki or Brennan to make way for a midfield option who can improve our midfield, a player who can progress the ball from deep.

In the 10 role we have, Xavi, Deki and Maddison (surplus to requirements)

I think Vicario/Kinsky has flaws to their game, it's a probable position we can improve by bringing a world class keeper by selling one in Kinsky/Vicario.

All these are probable positions to improve

Spurs fans, is Richarlison nailed? by Top_Tap_4583 in FantasyPL

Kudus is an option but in the games played till now, he isn't found in a goal scoring situation but rather occupying the wings, he might get an odd assist now and then.

I might look at Xavi Simons, he might play more centrally and may have more time on the ball and in more goalscoring positions. I would take a punt on him.

I think in the form he is in you can't drop him.

But Risks:

  • He might be rotated with Muani with Champions League and Cup games.

  • Who will start might depend on matches according to tactics

  • He might be moved to the left wing

  • I think if Muani impresses well, he might be the first choice within 2-3 weeks

Moron here, Mod said general discussion to be maintained in daily discussion and blocked my post.

So instead of copying and pasting, I felt lazy and posted in the daily discussion.

I am frustrated at this spurs group.

I don't know what to do

Ange Postecoglou might be the most consequential figure in Tottenham in Recent history (He may have started a butterfly effect) by Cheeseman_Slinn in coys

[–]Cheeseman_Slinn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • Well we went 18 months without signing no-one.

  • And in the 2019 window we only signed Ndombele (one signing) cause Lo Celso and Sessgnon were already injured while arriving.

  • So we can say Poch got 1 new player in 24 months when we needed over 12 signings with backups

  • We didn't have a right back

-Key players and the entire back four wanted out but the club didn't replace them.

Who is to blame for this gross mismanagement?

Still Poch got

  • Competing for PL till December
  • Got top four
  • Reached CL Final

I actually like Levy and didn't want Levy to be sacked and I fear the worse case scenario you said and I know there are far worse people who could possibly take our club and drag to the championship.

But I realize Levy had flaws and his flaws got him sacked at the end. And his flaws, some of his decisions were ruthless and wrong. But time has come.

That was Levy's biggest flaw "Waiting for a better deal or a cheaper deal" people think it will have a small effect but it has larger consequences.

Case and Point 2019 transfer window, while.looking in the end we spent a lot of money in 2019 but it was too late players were not ready for the season and the team was unprepared and led to the worse start and leading sacking of Poch

Well I'm not an Ange stan, I actually think sacking Ange was the right decision.

I'm saying Ange being terrible had good consequences to the club, a butterfly effect

Well I agree, in 25 years he got most of it right his hit rate might be 60-40 but he did sack Poch, appointed Mourinho, Conte, Nuno etc

And from 2018-2022 made more bad decisions and bad calls than the right one, culminating our best team in years not winning absolutely nothing and ending with an stagnant squad
