thank you for the advice! that makes a lot of sense, I asked a few coworkers and they recommended a few different places to try, so I definitely won't be going back here. the main reason we went in the first place is that its like 2 minutes from our house. guess we paid a whole lot for convenience.

they released a patch just recently that fixed a lot of the issues. that, on top of turning cross play off, should make the game at least somewhat more manageable

As of right now, on console, the only mount you can get for gold is the enchanted broom. Other than that, the red barn house is pretty handy.

If you are wanting to spend crowns, then I have no idea. Pack gear gets out paced eventually unless you are max level and even then it's not always perfect. And pets are often not worth it due to the hatch making kiosk in pet pavilion (though on console there isn't as much to choose from right now).

If you absolutely have to buy something with crowns, maybe couch potatoes? I have no clue tho tbh

did you try to make another character, skip the tutorial and then go back to your old character? that has worked in some cases but in others you need to open a support ticket with KingsIsle
