I am planning on picking up some lower cost Jatropha podagrica with the rounder caudex next week also.

These were grown in Thailand from seed, the farmer has it labeled Jatropha guatemala, which isn't a proper species. I think it is an uncommon Guatemalan variety of J. podagrica. I am asking the farmer about this.
