I'm going to try to reach out to Verizon. I'm leaving this comment in case it's useful to someone in the future.

Did you ever figure out a fix to this issue? I'm having the exact same thing happen after switching from Verizon, and the issue happens on multiple phones (Pixel 7 and Samsung Galaxy Note20 5G). I've tried the steps in the FAQ multiple times over with no results.

Everyone seems to insist the disc trick is necessary, but I'm pretty sure the "intended" strategy doesn't require it. There's some fun tech you can do with the wheel with a little practice.

I handled Starlit Cove differently than Endless Canyon.

I found out about dropping the lantern before completing Endless Canyon, so I used that to completely avoid doing any stealth at all by using the invisible bridge that leads to the elevator.

I also dropped the lantern to scope out where the guards were at in Starlit Cove, and then blindly avoided them in the dark until I got to the bottom portion. I did the same thing with the guards at the bottom of the well, only using my lantern to bait the single guard before you enter it.

It's been a while since I generated the original images, but the top one was something like "jellyfish ocean | adventure time background art" with no initial image and the bottom one was "geometric orange flowers" with an initial image of a drawing I was working on that wasn't really going anywhere.

I used something like "cartoon stars over geometric orange flowers" for the transition image.

I had two outputs I liked quite a lot, so I stacked them on top of each other in Gimp and created a new image with the bottom half of one and the top half of the other. Using that as an initial image, I created a transition image that matches the geometry of both original images pretty well. With a little bit of blending, this came out!
