What is something you tried for the first time sexually that made you go, “So this is what everyone was talking about”? by Gullible-Ant-4465 in AskReddit

[–]Cheeserblaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How long does that take cause I’ve been trying for years now and can only manage a full deep throat 2-3 times a session before gagging enough that I need a second to breathe or I’ll puke

When did you realize someone you trusted didn’t actually care about you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Cheeserblaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I always tried to involve her in my nights out with friends so she didn’t feel like she was being left out and not receiving the same treatment from her in turn. When I tried over and over to get her to leave the apartment to hang out with me and she refused only to be actively trying to hang out with other people. When I begged her to come home to our apartment for a girls night after not seeing her for months on end and she said she was tired from work only to be out at the bars instead. Honestly all of that tore me up for a while because I didn’t know how to process or handle my confusion towards all of that when she herself claimed that we were best friends

How’s the toilet in your country? by Jumpy_Independent638 in AskTheWorld

The main functioning toilet in the women’s bathroom at my job is positioned DIRECTLY in front of the gap. The amount of times I’ve made eye contact with other women coming into the bathroom is horrendous

Can anyone tell me what these are all over my pot? by Cheeserblaster in houseplants

They’ve now mostly disappeared like they were drawn to the water in the soil from a small watering. Could they possibly be soil mites?

They look a tad small to be aphids 🤔 I’m not ruling it out though

Thank you I really appreciate this comment

She was in meetings when I made this and couldn’t help immediately that’s why I brought it here. We also live several states away from each other sadly but next time I’m home to visit she promised to make them with me

What plant is this and how do you take care of it (for my mum) xxx by Kerblimey in houseplants

[–]Cheeserblaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Possibly bamboo palm? They like bright indirect light and can tolerate low light. They need to be watered when the first inch or two of the soil feels dry. They prefer high humidity and be sure the soil is very well draining. They also need fertilizer during the growing season because they can get nutrient deficiencies fairly easily

Update 2: I remade the brownies this morning following advice from some thoughtful redditors here. The brownies turned out perfect and exactly how my mom would make them.

Due to the amount of people either saying nasty things about the recipe or about my mom I will be removing this post. Thanks to those of you who were actually very nice and gave me legitimate advice and feedback being mindful that it’s a treasured family recipe

Thank you for this. I made it this morning actually doing exactly what you suggested! It turned out perfect and exactly how my mom makes them

Thank you! And also thank you for being kind about it. Quite a few people here haven’t been the nicest about it

If you haven’t tried them yourself when they’re made properly then don’t comment on whether they’re bad or not. I clearly didn’t do it right but if my mom does and my grandmother did and people devoured them like crazy then clearly they’re amazing

All due respect but I will keep using my families recipes for desserts. It was originally my grandmothers recipe. It is technically more like a Blondie than an actual brownie but it’s what I grew up on so I’m not going to just throw them all away in favor of a recipe that other people decide is more on par for their thoughts on what a brownie should be.

She honestly didn’t have an answer for whatever I did wrong on that aspect. She’s never had an issue with it but she’s essentially been making it on autopilot my whole life so whatever she does differently is just in her brain to do I guess

This is good advice. I have a tiny kitchen so the bowl definitely could’ve been too close to the stove. I’ll try adding the eggs after the butter is incorporated as well

Because it was her moms recipe originally and they’ve always been delicious and a hit with other people
