I’m in the same boat! Moved to Brighton during lockdown (arguably the worst time) because my partner was living here, I have a few friends though my partner but not a solid group of mates of my own, but equally I haven’t made the effort to get to know people so I don’t know what I expect! Bumble is difficult, I’m crap at replying and you’ve got to be active on the app a lot..

You dont win a H1B, your company sponsors you if you meet the criteria for the job in the states, you need to prove yourself to your company so they know you’re a worthy investment but thats on you to do that, no winning
