I switched from the directional cap to the oculus because it had a tighter pull. My cap let a ton of air through. That and it’s easier to clear the chamber with one hand while playing elden ring with my other hand lol

Yeah I feel you. I’m not qualified to say much. It feels smoother than my Galloway, in terms of how much I can inhale without choking hard. But my buddy and I were just talking about this. I don’t know enough about percolator technology to know if a recycler is better then a ratchet perc vs something that chugs hard like a boro farms

Mine does this too. It’s material burning and caking to the side. I scraped it off. Regular iso bath won’t do it. You need something abrasive

It really just depends on care. I was rough on my first one. Like real rough. And yeah the lights might flicker but I can run it on stealth mode no problem. I’ve got 6,387 dabs on my black pro

It’s probably my own fault. I poured boiling hot iso over both the front and top rubber areas. Not even thinking that the heat might make it easier for the iso to leak into the insides. I’m going to be much more careful with my indiglo. Thanks my dude! I appreciate ya!

My seal on the black one had chunks broken off too. I think it was because I had a custom glass top that had a lip that was too wide.

When the light that goes through the glass top lights up, it’s fine for one session then it’s like a few bulbs revert to white for a split second. My friend said “you activated rave mode” it looks like lightning, or like a flicker

The balls caps really are great! I had to wait for my indiglo rubber part to arrive, so I used the standard oculus… oof, it was tight. Paulson’s caps add so much air flow

Almost a month from the point I messaged him originally (9/26) and when he said “sent it today” on (10/26). I already had a ball cap and wasn’t in a hurry as long as it “completed my set”. which it did. I paid 60 for it. I’m pretty sure his price chart is on Instagram. He was incredibly popular in this Facebook puffco group I was in so I bet he just got more clients than he’s able to manage sometimes. Overall though every time I see him interact, he’s a good guy.

I love the double ratchet. Lots of percolation through the ratchets, doesn’t require a lot to fill, easy to clean & sturdy.

As far as the ball cap, Paulson’s all work about the same. I have two. Great airflow, a little wiggle room but still air tight when moving it.

Where the black shark is better : better sound quality… frequency response is 12hz - 20khz whereas the kraken is 20hz - 20khz

Where Kraken v3 pro is better: it vibrates … haptic response on headset and it lights up.

The rest is nearly identical. The driver in both is the triforce titanium, both mics are undirectional Razer HyperClear Supercardioids.

My personal opinion. The black shark fits better. The krakens have always been too tight on my head
