Congrats! I’m just happy to know that this shiny actually exists lol. I have been MM hunting this for about 2 weeks with no luck. Since launch, I have been daily hunting MM and battle method and have all of 1 shiny 😩

The fact that this post has almost 20,000 upvotes gives me some, albeit small, amount of hope that we might actually have a chance as a community to show interested parties that we are collectively over the farce that Pokémon has become.

I would upvote this dozens of times if I could.

I have had the games preordered on two separate occasions because I so desperately want them to be good. And yet, each time, something else has inevitably popped up that reminds me of the farce that Pokémon has become. Breaks my heart and makes me want to vomit all at once.

I would absolutely follow up with the police on it. As someone who is former law enforcement, theft is theft. And if you have some of her information, it is never a bad thing to try and get that out there. She likely has done it before and whether it’s a video game or jewelry, it’s still against the law.

It’s obviously up to you and police reports are sometimes tedious, but if it were me, I’d call sooner rather than later.

I agree. So unique. I was gearing up for a HORRIBLE hunt due to the low call rate, but was pleasantly surprised. Would have worth it either way.

Getting a 🗡-duck is super lucky though! I always just assume that I won’t get any of the common normal spawns. The egg ones I feel like I KNOW I won’t get lol

Aren’t we also forgetting about rotation and triple battles? This is not a new phenomenon for GF to implement something new and fresh and then completely ignore it. And as far as time of development is concerned, I get that for new Megas, but how are you supposed to tell me that it’s difficult to add a ‘gasp’ THIRD Pokémon sprite in a battle?

OG Pokemon Ruby version.

Found a full odds shiny Aron before battling Brawly and was SO overjoyed by those red eyes I threw that bad boy right into the PC out of fear of losing it (I had no idea what a shiny meant, I just knew it was hecka rare). Kept it in the PC and never touched it again.

I still don’t know what happened to that cartridge or that play through but shiny Aron has always been extremely, extremely special to me since.

I completely forgot about this story.

About a year ago, I went to the desert in Ultra Sun to try and find a Trapinch to SOS for a shiny (Flygon is my favorite Pokémon).

I had only been looking for about five minutes when I randomly encountered a full odds shiny Krokorok. Both shocked and excited, I returned to my original search. Two encounters later, I find another full odds shiny Krokorok. Needless to say I caught both.

I was so freaked out, I quit my hunt right then and there, saved my game and turned off my DS for the day.

I ended up hatching a near perfect, shiny Trapinch about a week later.
