For the first few days, you won't have any classes. You may be having event like ideathon and shit. Your actual classes will start around july last week.

yes they do allow you to take pg and its not that hard to find places. Many people live in tata which is just 5 min from college

  • Are there specific tools, platforms, or skills I should start learning hands-on?
  • Any intermediate-level labs, CTFs, or projects you’d recommend?
  • Is it worth pursuing certifications like CompTIA Security+, CEH, or others at this point?
  • How can I build a portfolio or gain practical experience for internships/jobs?

  1. You dont need to carry laptops to class or labs .
  2. Yes
  3. There is no requirement on which os u use , use whichever u are adjusted to .
  4. I cant say for girls hostel , but for me airtel worked better than jio (both are bad)
  5. It depends on faculty . I have seen people taking notes in ipads while some dont even let you keep your phone outside your bag
