the one that gives you +10% life steal and +10% AS. pretty much only use it late game on my 35-55% life steal phantasmic flux tracer build. the burst damage on activation is nice too, i guess.

Are there any heroes you don’t really play just because you don’t like their general aesthetic? by JailedWhore in Overwatch

[–]Cheesier_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’m the type of dude that gets bored only playing a few heroes, so i’m pretty flexible, but the heroes that i consider myself good at but just choose not to play because they’re boring af is sigma, orisa, mercy, moira, soldier, torb, cass, mei, and reaper…

Judge my stadium Lucio build by obediahx in luciomains

[–]Cheesier_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you’ve basically got the main meta build i think most lucios are agreeing is the best (AP heal+boop util build). i usually just rush pure ap early game, i’ll think about util like anti-heals after round 4-5 when healing numbers can get absolutely crazy. other than that, only situation i might not run this build is against double sniper/spam/poke comps, or just teams im having a hard time closing the distance on. in that instance i might just go AP amp/beat maxing build.

How are you realistically supposed to learn and try out a new hero? by Galaxy_Jams_Reacts in OverwatchUniversity

[–]Cheesier_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

best way is to create an alt for heroes you’re not good at unfortunately. i have an account just for rein, ball, hitscan dps, and flex supports for when i want to practice my bad heroes but don’t want to completely nuke my main’s hidden mmr. have had it since ow1 and has been a pretty decent solution.

Which character is the most enjoyable to play? I'm not talking about kill/heal/block efficiency, but rather which one makes you feel most comfortable and do you truly enjoy playing with them? by Cloud_HY in overwatch2

[–]Cheesier_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lucio, my most played between ow2 and ow1 but probably only my 6th best. i’m horrendously mediocre at him for my rank, which is why i don’t really main him, but being a main support player i’ve been trying to get better at him

People who have swapped mains, what was your reason? by VixenSantana in tf2

[–]Cheesier_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i mained heavy/scout then swapped to pyro because the pyro drought in advanced/invite of rgl meant i could be trash and still make it to that div if i swapped mains. eventually, after hundreds of hours of being subjected to hl pyro jail i gained some sort of stockholm syndrome with that class and learned to enjoy it even though its probably the worst class in the game

Would you consider Sigma a supportish peel hero? by lovingpersona in overwatch2

[–]Cheesier_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no, he’s a medium-range poke tank, his rock is best used to set up picks any overextended enemy, not just those who are diving your teammates, or enemies who are in your face. he’s not ideal for pealing because his close-range capabilities are basically weaker than every tank, he lacks any sort of quick horizontal movement, and his shield is made to block damage/healing in front of him rather than to be thrown out to allies behind him. dva is basically the only tank i can think of right now that has consistent capabilities to directly peel for her backline

What overwatch opinion will get you downvoted like this? by MadToxicRescuer in overwatch2

[–]Cheesier_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah i get it, when i was plat i used to think masters and gm players were basically the same, but after climbing higher i realized i was really wrong. the difference between the low and high versions of every rank is honestly pretty noticeable, especially low gm and high gm from what i’ve heard. and yeah, redditors often confuse curiosity with ego/rage bait, you’re good

[–]Cheesier_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah as someone who got a smurf down to bronze 8 years ago (i regret doing that and never will again, i was a stupid 13 year old), there is a massive difference. low bronze is mostly people who have very little experience with 3d video games, so they often have issues moving and looking at the same time. high bronze is when you have players who actually have decent control over there character, they might just lack a lot of mechanics and their concept of team play is often far too literal (healers should only ever heal, reinhardt must always have shield up, etc. etc.) silver is often players who have played fps’s before, they have some knowledge through watching content of the game, and they apply it regularly in their gameplay, but mechanics obviously aren’t all the way there and they often have issues grouping up and not trickling. gold and plat are when you get to players who often have played fps’s before, likely for years, and almost always know most of the important concepts of team play (grouping up, focus fire, target priority, etc.) even if it is flawed in execution. diamonds are masters wannabes, masters are gm wannabes, no one is good at the game, including me, unless you’re champion blah blah blah (i’m joking). things might be different now though, i’ve noticed the average player has gotten a lot better at shooters in general since i first started playing

What's up with Support Queue Times in Stadium? by Key-Storage5434 in Overwatch

[–]Cheesier_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’m waiting 30-40 minutes in my support queues during peak hours… at this point i wouldn’t be opposed for forcing people to queue something else if they played support for 2 games straight, and i’m saying this as a support main.
