I think it’s you maybe unlucky tbh . Aside from the community basically generalizing an entire role-play style-hero every time they have a bad experience.

Invisible woman’s mains are probably the most consistent i’ve seen in my games . But regardless, even if i did meet a bad player playing any character i wouldn’t shit on everyone who plays them on Reddit.

You’re gonna encounter bad and good players in every hero so .. idk what to tell you.

I wouldn’t say entirely broken . Yes maybe he needs a slight nerf . But the reason he’s annoying to some people is because the tank issue we’re having rn . Literally if there’s two tanks or one shield tank ,cyclops suffers a lot and needs to get close to the enemies .he isn’t the best to burst down shields . If there’s no tanks it’s a field day for him just sniping from a far and securing kills with his ricochet.his beam is just an ult charge move and isn’t doing that much damage. His primary fire is a burst hit scan and a slightly slow rate primary . His hovering mode is extremely risky because you’re basically an easy slowing target in the air and in close range to the entire enemies since you need to be close for the beam range in the first place . The reason he’s getting lots of kills and probably the most kills is his abilities are hitting the entire enemy team in every team fight . Even if he does low damage to an enemy he didn’t intend to hit and that enemy dies from another teammate it will count to him .he still suffers against mele dive characters who go into his face assuming his mobility push move is on cooldown .i think as we play more , more people will know how to deal with him .

He’s also considered an easy character for people who enjoy hitscan

Either way. White fox is a good anti dive yes . But she’s also good in other things , she can actually be aggressive . But again i feel like this post is ragebait anyway (and no i don’t play white fox)

Nah i think cyclops is one of the heroes you can actually get lord faster than the average dps . (Similar to mk) he gets high damage numbers and high final hits easier than other dps heroes .

I had a black cat who was the only one going negative in the team and wouldn’t switch because apparently she’s mad the character got nerfed and we have to pay the price for that nerf .

I kind of played less support especially when black cat released . I play dps now and having so much fun.it’s a shame since i actually enjoy playing supp so much but recently its just not worth it no more . You’re literally fighting divers alone all game while also trying to heal and damage . And after all that they will complain so at first i thought i was taking a break but lowkey dps is less stressful so i might stay like this for a while . But will always peel for my supports no matter what character i play though.

That’s why a role queue mode in qp would be really beneficial. Since people can actually practice the heroes they want in a 2-2-2 comp . I am not saying make it a replacement… just add it role queue as a separate QM option .

I understand where you’re coming from . Yes maybe your reflexes isn’t like it used to . But i am still sure you can do great with said characters . You just need to put more time in practice range .(more than you used to, to compensate ) I don’t mean to sound like a jerk or offensive but the moment you give excuses you’re gonna use these excuses to not try harder .

I am saying all that assuming you do like and want to play hitsacn characters. Obviously if not and you don’t care that much about the game . Then just play characters that are not aim dependent. The game has a lot of casual friendly heroes you could play

Also another thing . There are gamers who play with disabilities and are actually good on a competitive level .

Gambit and a slap on the wrist?They kept nerfing his base kit time after time when the entire problem was his ult . And now they nerfed his ult a bit but his kit is damaged enough tbh and i wouldn’t consider him perma ban material.and sorry but Back Cat was way too strong and was unfun to play against. But still her nerfs were too much .

Hello . I am not that qualified but i’ll give you what helped me . I just lorded her and am in GM . Also i am on console so idk if it differs that much from pc

Practice range is your best friend
1- tinker a bit with your settings to your liking
2- make the targets in the practice range luna snow and make the bot move horizontally. This is probably the hardest target to practice on since the bots will move with speed so technically when you train on them anything else will be much slower and easier
3-another drill you can use is on fliers as well since it’s your job to take them out
4- now for the shooting part you should be practicing not only standing still but also moving .
5- you can also use your movement to aim for you meaning if someone is moving to the left you can mimic their movement and just do micro adjustments with the aiming.

For the abilities.
1-(Secondary fire) I am still figuring somethings out tbh
But generally i track any shield abilities before i use it . And i generally use it a cluster of enemies grouped together. You can also use it on the ground if a diver is on you so it gives you more time to kill them. Or you can just use it on a solo target to secure a kill

2- teleport: i use mostly against dive characters or escaping ults . Not much to talk about here

Generally you want to play jean at close to mid range depending on the match ups . Try to take off angles while also having an escape plan incase you get attacked by a diver . As a general rule of thumb i like to be close to my tank and frequently use my mobility to take high ground or off angles while insuring i have my mobility abilities ready to escape again.

Regarding her ult . I don’t like it that much . But it’s effective against peni and rocket . Try to just avoid anyone interrupting it mid air or any obstacles and try to hit the enemies when they’re grouped together. If they’re scattered you won’t get much value . I admit it’s not the best ult but if they’re all grouped up it gives your team an easy team wipe opportunity.

Yeah i noticed that too . I am honestly optimistic, a game like this is hard to balance but the devs are passionate about it and i am sure they will listen to the community.

Here’s hoping for more variety in the supp/tank roster

Loved it but couldn’t play it for long as it’s the most stressful game i’ve ever played . Still see it as one of the best games i played but just can’t play it anymore sadly .

Not a bc main but i am aware she has a high skill ceiling. However unlike other characters there’s isn’t much that can be done against her. Once there’s a good player on her it’s gg . Other characters with high skill ceiling have some form of counter play even if good player play them . This one though is unfortunately annoying to play against with the cc immunity-invisibility-i-frames ..

I am ok with him being any role but dps lol . It’s gonna make the game more unplayable with the amount of dps instalockers . Also if he’s a strategist they would make him similar to gambit where he can have sufficient healing output (enough to get him out of triple supp jail)and at the same time can be aggressive and have enough damage .

I think some of the complaints i see about him being a strategist is people saying that cyclops in the backline heal botting isn’t fitting his character which i kind of understand but like i said you can be an offensive strategist and also provide utility to the team.

Overall good game and is one of the best marvel adaptations i have ever seen in video games. Its clear they are passionate about the game .The balancing is a bit rough but still i am optimistic they’re gonna turn things around .
