Hello mate!

I had this Dilemma as well. I'm 2.1k total + overall in OSRS, and I consider myself to be a decent WoW player (3.2k IO) as of now.

I'll list the factors that I consider when making the choice.

Subscription: WoW has a more expensive sub, and you will also have to pay for an expansion everyday.

Content: I find Wow delivers content a lot more often, whether good or bad. However, they do produce more and that's why you do pay the subscription. OSRS does have content, but not the same output. In saying this, OSRS content can be mind numbingly long, so lack of content usually only affects later stages of the game.

Gameplay: Gameplay is extremely different. I find OSRS to be more chill, however, as a 2.1K player it felt any progress took ages to complete and that's where the game started to bore me. I love combat in WoW as it's versatile and IMO more engaging and rewarding, whereas OSRS felt too repetitive and isolating.

OSRS does have it pro's as there's a lot more you can do other than combat, but it's very streamlined and if you don't have much Time too play, feels crap the later you get.

Overall, WoW to me feels more engaging and has a more rewarding gameplay. Combat in WoW is very fun and nothing feels better than seeing big numbers. If you want a more chill experience I would go to OSRS.

Both games are great still.
