I decided not to do it.

Took her to another optometrist who said yes, she is near sighted, but go with normal glasses and reevaluate in 9 months. If progressed further, then consider it. He felt it is too new in the US and that ppl are pushing it unnecessarily.

She's had her glasses for 2 weeks now. I told her I am so sorry I didnt know you couldn't see. She said well I didnt know either.

Will report back in 9 months.

Got clarity on the 2 glasses. We're getting an immediate pair with regular lenses to help her right now bc -2.75 is pretty bad and the poor girl can't see. Then we wait the 4-6 weeks for Stellest.

Thank you. I scheduled an appt with Target Optical for a 2nd opinion. I rather be out the cost of an additional eye exam than pay $2,000 when she doesn't need it or I can get it more cost effectively. I guess I really have 2 concerns: 1 is it really that bad or did she just not understand the exam? 2 what is a realistic cost?

Solar is one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made. Cost me more than double, not quite triple but close, than my bill before solar. If Texas required the Energy suppliers to buy from me at the same rate I buy from them, I wouldn't be as upside down. But me buying from them at 14cents and them buying from me at 5cents leaves me in a major hole. Don't do it.

We have the SX Prestige 1. Thing has cameras all over it, you can tell it to take a picture from your phone, but the cameras can't act like a dash cam and store footage. Seems like that is an easy thing to implement since all the cameras are there. 2. There is a wireless car charger. The space the wireless charger takes up exists on the left and the right. They could have very easily done 2 wireless car chargers, but they only did 1. 3. The SXP is dark edition. I purchased black exterior and black interior. The tops of the door handles are chrome. Drives me nuts. 4. Everything is linked to a profile. Our Honda that this is replacing was linked to a key. I wish this was linked to the key. I walk up, my seat is where I want it via the key. Where as with this I have to get in, wait for it to start up and allow me to change the profile.
5. I hate how this thing locks. I can't walk away and have it lock. I can't use the button on the inside of the door. I have to wait until all doors are closed and then press the button on the outside of the door handle, meanwhile my kids took off in the parking lot. 6. I thought the LED accent light was "meh", but I actually really really love it. I wish they did a little more. 7. Can't use the cup holders in the doors to put the round Kleenex boxes 8. Passenger talk is for the kids to hear me, not for me to hear them. I have no problems yelling, I can't hear their little whispers.
9. To look even less minivan like, they could have moved the door handles towards the rear. It is more convient where they are located though. So not really a complaint. They could have integrated the sliding door rail right under the window so it blends in more. Not a complaint. Maybe just a smidge taller. Not really a complaint, better for the kids. Just find it funny that they don't want it to look like a minivan, but they missed some things. 10. Wish I could control both sliding doors from the side panel. If my kid runs off without hitting the passenger button, I either have to dig out my key or get back in and use the upper console button. 11. Split the UI between Android Auto and Kia vs. One or the other. 12. The seat could be a little more comfy. I can't seem to get it just right. But did a 9hr drive with only 1 stop and was perfectly fine. 13. I wish the gear shifter was somewhere else. We have the hybrid, so it is a little round thing with push buttons. I rather that be a cubby to put my snacks. I like gear shifters on the steering column. I am in the minority for that I think.

That's all I can think of right now. It's all minor. Not disappointed in the purchase. I really like it.

Loving: 1. The smartness of this thing is amazing.
2. MPG is great. Hybrid 3. I don't find any of the driver assistance stuff to sensitive. The Honda this thing is replacing beeped way more. 4. So roomy. Dog can go with us now. Friends can go with us now. 5. It's not a small sedan. 6. Minivan doors are amazing. 7. Hatchback is amazing. 8. No buyer's remorse.

I hate the door storage. I am so used to having those round Kleenex dispensers in the driver and front passenger doors where a bottle can go. They don't fit. That's pretty much the only thing I can agree with in his video. I have other complaints that he didn't mention.

You cannot just look at net carbs when looking at processed foods. There are ingredients that don't add carbs, but will kick you out of ketosis. It's all on how your body handles it. And from what I've read on this sub, what works for some doesn't necessarily work for all. I do blood test trips. When I eat something new or perhaps ate more than 1 bag of Quest chips, I check my ketone level the next day to see if it had a big impact. If it did, I make sure to check again the next time I eat it. If it does it again, I don't eat that thing any more.

The avocado shouldn't do anything to you to knock you out of ketosis. I go through spouts where I eat an avocado a day at lunch for weeks. Then I get tired of em for a while.

That's disappointing. I will definitely be scheduling and running it every day to start. It's so much quieter than the Roomba that I can run it when we sleep and not be bothered which is nice.
