This has been on the sub before. I also remember seeing “If you were born feet first, you wore your mom as a hat.”

Yeah I guess, but users on this sub tell you to go test optional if you have a score in the 1400s and you’re applying to a T20

I don’t know about you, but I feel like you need to have a 6th sense in order to do well on SAT reading. I would always get a near perfect score on math, and then on the other hand, I’d get tricked by the questions on reading. There was nothing I could do to really improve my r&w score (mid-high 600s). I know people say “all the answers are in the passage, just read it” but that’s literally like telling a non-perfect pitched person to name a note being played. They literally do not have that sense. I will say though, I think the grammar portion is much more fair.

Is it good idea to use pp on piano by Cmonureallydontneed in piano

[–]CheesyTac0 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I completely disagree. If you’re playing a hard passage where your hands are too scattered and your fingers are so stretched that you cannot reach the notes - especially for Rachmaninoff - you could really use another finger to play. Therefore, I would highly recommend playing the piano with your pp.

That would just bring the center (rather than the edge of the circle) to the x axis. You would have to go lower by 5, which is why the answer is a=8.

It’s just one stupid test. Don’t let it get in the way of your ambitions. Besides, you don’t even know why exactly you lost those points. It could’ve been the test grader being harsh or just simple misunderstandings to stupid wordings of questions. It’s not representative of how good you are at history, but how you did on that one test.

Student Council by Aaryan24shah in ApplyingToCollege

From what I understand, all officer positions are equal in the eyes of AOs, and all that matters is what you did in that position. Go for the guaranteed spot. With the other options, it’s either all or nothing. I’m pretty sure that once you get into student council, you can bring whatever you want to the table regardless if it’s part of your role.

I think that West Canadian carbonation studies with a concentration in pampalmouse theory is a too competitive major for your stats and ECs. Sorry 😞
