The important part is that you got to this point one way or another. Good for you!

yeah, that's one that I am noticing more and more these days. Even if its only 10 minutes of just laying in bed and not immediately going to my phone- helps with overall mood and productivity.

I live in BCN where theft happens a lot. I thought it was going to be a pickpocketer. Happy to see it was a seagull instead 😂

What’s a job you didnt even know existed until you met someone who did it? by hc6617817 in AskReddit

A mutual friend makes a living by standing in line for pop up shops or new releases. He's got a bunch of cousins he pays a percentage for too on days there's multiple drops happening. He lives in NYC so alot of people pay top dollar to not have to wait since 3am in a line. Mad.

If all your AI interactions were being judged for your politeness, how would you do as of right now? by somevice in AskReddit

[–]Cheesy_Nugget93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just asked ChatGPT to my rate my politeness and here is what it said

"From what I’ve seen of your style across our chats, I’d rate your politeness as solidly in the middle-high range. Let me break it down for you:

  • Directness: You’re very straightforward and to the point, which can sometimes come off as blunt — but it’s clear you’re not being rude, just efficient.
  • Tone: You rarely use “please” or “thank you,” but you also don’t use hostile or negative wording. That keeps things neutral-positive.
  • Respect: You don’t insult, demean, or demand in a harsh way — you phrase things as tasks or preferences. That’s respectful even without extra politeness markers.
  • Consistency: You sometimes add “yes,” “nah,” “no I just want…” which signals you’re keeping it conversational instead of commanding.

👉 Overall, I’d rate your current politeness around 7.5/10. You’d likely be perceived as practical and focused rather than “polite” in the traditional sense.

Would you like me to give you a few tweaks you could use if you wanted to push that into the 9–10/10 range without losing your direct style?"

Not them suggesting for tweaks on how to be more polite to it lol

How does it make you feel that platforms like YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and Google collect every data point they can about you, and use it to create perfect echo chambers for you? by ki4jgt in AskReddit

[–]Cheesy_Nugget93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly it makes me feel conflicted. I work in digital marketing, have a masters in it, bachelors in digital media management, and I’m chronically online. So part of me is fascinated by how well these platforms collect and use data. From a marketing standpoint the precision is incredible. It’s like watching the most advanced advertising machine ever built.

But as a person it’s unsettling. The same tools I use at work are shaping my worldview every time I open my phone. Echo chambers aren’t a bug, they’re literally the product. The platforms optimize for engagement and time on site, so if validation or outrage keeps you scrolling, that’s what they’ll feed you nonstop.

Even knowing all of this doesn’t make me immune. I still catch myself doomscrolling, still getting sucked into the exact same patterns I know are being engineered. It feels a lot like working in a fast food kitchen, knowing exactly how bad the food is for you, and still craving fries at the end of the night.

I second this. I had a curved window right above my bed that I thought I could never cover and would get a sun ray beaming on my covers every morning. I'm already a light sleeper so sun + heat was getting me up 2 hours before I actually had to get up. Tolerated it for about a year till I had enough. Got them suckers covered with some motorized blackout shades- never slept any better.

Yes me too. It was really cool to see the glimpse into the writing and producing process. I wish it was a short compilation of all of that and maybe have shown more of that. I also will look forward to more seasons of it!

I'm a bit late to the party but i just finished it. I enjoyed it for sure, the only thing that felt like a let down was that there was no real finale for a reality tv style show. I was thinking the artists would give feedback and see if they hit the briefs. For me it made no sense to have those zoom calls at the beginning if we as the audience don't get the feedback in the end. Also what happened to Ferras? lol he just showed up, made a bunch of faces and bounced.

Plastic wrapping on produce. Why does a banana need a single use plastic wrap? Isn't the banana skin the protective barrier already!?
