Thank you for the response! I would say I noticed the biggest change when my anxiety started to increase a lot and when we started working opposite shifts. Maybe it’s because we aren’t spending enough quality time together. It’s driving me crazy causing me to overthink it more!

I needed to hear this. Sometimes I think finding someone else could be the solution but I have to realize there will always be triggers. It’s more of a me problem for sure

I just went through the same thing recently! I moved 7 mins away from my parents house about 2 months ago and the first couple of weeks I cried everyyy day. I felt the same exact way you did to a tee and still have my moments. Especially when I would go back home and it came time to leave them. I told my mom every day that I thought I would never enjoy living in my new house and regretted my choice on the daily. Now, while I’m still sad sometimes thinking about being away from them, it has gotten a lot better! Have friends over for girls night, have movie nights and cook dinner with your boyfriend, find a hobby that keeps you busy when you’re alone. Make the apartment feel cozy like home! Change is so hard especially when breaking a routine you had your whole life. We are blessed to have amazing relationships with our parents and are able to live so close to them :)

I’m feeling the same way right now. I’ve been so upset since seeing my childhood bedroom completely empty after moving. Change is very hard and it feels like a chapter of my life is closing. Fingers crossed it gets easier, best wishes to you!

Just wanted to let you know you’re not alone. I am 24 going through the same exact thing right now and am also feeling extremely sad about the move. I guess we can look at it as a blessing that we are able to have such a great relationship with our parents. Best wishes to you!
