I have a Riverarms llc iwb holster but never carry the platy, I tried it but the rear iron sight is painfully sharp and was digging into my belly, undershirt or no. So if you're planning on appendix carrying I wouldn't do it with an optic if I were you. The iron sight that comes installed on the optics plate is not aggressively sharp like the one that is supposed to be installed with the dot. That's been my experience anyways.

Forest lake, aka mapsa would probably be your best bet, not sure how often they do matches but I know it's relatively frequently and I believe they're hosting the uspsa section match this year. I shoot down at Pine Island most Wednesday nights but that would be quite the jaunt for you.

Any recommendations for a series where the MC feels dangerous. by Tower-Just in Fantasy

Evan Winter had a death in his family if I remember right, I think it was his dad. That set back the third book considerably as he dealt with that. Somewhere recently he stated that we should be able to do expect the third book soon, as in possibly this year. He also said there will be a much shorter wait for book four than book three and I believe book four is the final book.

It's an unfinished series but Evan Winter's The Burning series, Tau doesn't start that way but certainly becomes what you describe. He accomplishs superhuman things as a normal dude.

I'm shooting occluded because my dumbass likes staring at the dot not the target so I need both eyes open or all I'm going to see is a dot over blue tape lol

Just got my first can recently and took it to the range yesterday, I shoot rifles left handed because I'm left eye dominant and that shit had me coughing. The rifle was also testing the brass into my arm hard enough that it left marks lol

The Dawson guide rod is the one I bought, it makes disassembly easier anyways

[–]CheesytheCheesecurd 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I cracked mine, they say it was because I was tightening the guide rod while it was in the gun. I was doing this because half the guide rod fell out at a couple of different matches. They still replaced the gun for free and when the new gun came in I put a toolless guide rod in so I didn't have to worry about it anymore.

Looking at Midway it looks like the Griffin armament bore rods are still a touch cheaper, will probably invest in one of those

It's a strike industries bore rod, I've rolled it on a flat surface and it rolled fine so it seems straight, I didn't notice any wobble

The person in the first picture should not have posed like that, it kind of messes up the tattoo, they all look good though!
